Wow... 790 people in a country of 300 million. We also have no idea who these people were (Random, localized, what age, gender?). It was also just an opinion poll. Ask them again in a week and they might change.

Short answer: No. Only white people had voting rights and voting rights were required to hold political office.
Long answer: There were a few exceptions, but they were essentially just glorified middle man. It's more tolerable for communities to see one of their own in charge, even if that individual is essentially just a puppet.

I tried to look for a book. It just gave me books about changing citizenships.
So... yeah. I think I require any kind of proof, that the claimed 0% success rate is a lie. I'll literary only take one. I accept book links too, so I can check the author and the case.

Your "Sometimes work" argument requires the citation of at least one case, where it worked. And it's better be a serious case and not just some minor thing where the judge essentially declared the "SovCit" insane and terminated the hearing to avoid dealing with a lot of unnecessary work.
But back to the original problem: It's religios exemption. I wouldn't be surprised, if the Amish have an exemption too. Just request one, if it means so much for you.

Playing the "SovCit" game is a dangerous gamble. Your outcome will 100% depend on the judge and their mood in that moment.

Cambodia: I'm pretty sure most people have no idea, what happened in Cambodia without asking Google. Try Communist China. More people familiar with it and it's actually pretty similar.

But it would've had the same problems as switching to metric. Confusion and cost. The French created metric specifically to run the new system under a different name and avoid confusion. It's like when a country adopt a new currency after a hyper inflation correction. He failed to understand which BPD was discussed. He said Bi-Polar Disorder, but the BPD he talked about was Borderline Personality Disorder. Bipolar is usually medicated and usually predictable. Borderline isn't. Borderline is a personality disorder and requires CBT (cognitiv behaviour therapy), aka re-education. Although it's also a retired diagnosis now. They usually replace it with CPTSD.

@nprofile…yt30 I don't think I can explain this to you in 500 characters. The relevant literature is close to 10000 pages.
You also use terms like IQ, Charisma, social skills, ect extremely loosely, which makes it very difficult to make you understand why you're wrong.
Understanding what IQ actually measure would be the 1st step. You use it as a "Smarts" stat, like in a video game, but it's not. Someone's "IQ score" is an average to begin with. It's the combination of multiple specific IQ scores.

2026-07-30 19:54:01 UTC

@nprofile…yt30 Yeah, it looks legit. The higher maths requirement means higher IQ. But IQ isn't just maths. IQ tests involve memorization, vocabulary, spacial recognition, pattern recognition, ect. And other fields require different aspects of intelligence. Social sciences focus more on pattern recognition and memorization. Law is similar to maths, where you need to learn and use a lot of rules, although those rules aren't mathematical.

Psychology studies Charisma and intelligence, but it requires intelligence to do the research. Charisma is more required for the service side of Psychology, aka Mental Health.
Economics and Business also mixed. Very role dependent. Jews infamous for being accountants, which isn't a charisma role.

Finished listening to The Rise of Modern Japan. It was interesting to hear their perspective on WW2 and the American occupation, which was only accepted, because the Soviet occupation would've been infinitely worse. They also earned a lot of money from the USA's asian adventures in Korea and Vietnam. According to Mark Ravina, Japan will likely join China over the USA, if it comes to picking sides. So Japan's recent rearmament might be aimed against the USA, instead of China.
