The problem is just as bad for Bitcoin. As we argue about trivial things, powerful discretely centralized lobbies continue push law makers towards a stablecoin cdbc future.
Decentralized coordination would flip the tables.
Not only would centralized openents lose the advantage of coordination, they would also have to pay the cost of limiting the decision making brain power to a core few.
That's why I want to popularize futarchy, imo it's our best hope for decentralized coordination.

Maybe u create a market to let your follows bet on what fractions of your users will use the remote signer if you implement it? 🥺👉👈

I swear I tried to publish this with every long form web client I could find: habla, yakihonne, makimono...
They all had errors and failed. I think because I use amber to store my key. Only the web version of @nprofile…wlyq worked.

Why not the liquidity sensitive LSMR?

Just imagine knowing which project, if funded, would double the weekly active user numbers

openai would be better off *rewarding* employees for insider trading in an insiders-only market

What if @nprofile…uazd awarded one of its nostr grants based on predictuon market on project funded X nostr weekly active users in one year?
Just as an experiment?

Decentralized projects, like nostr, are at a disadvantage compared to centralized platforms when it comes to coordination. X can put all of its resources towards some new feature and guarantee that all its users will participate in the network effects while on nostr, amazing ideas are being explored but most are only available in or or two clients.
What if there was a primitive that enables decentralized coordination?

2026-03-29 22:31:29 UTC

The current crop of public prediction markets don't have the primitive needed to unlock the bigges value proposition of prefiction markets.

I’m working on a platform for members-only prediction markets.
The idea is that a team could use their market to efficiently and fairly aggregate the wisdom of its members and make decisions about the future.
The app is still very much in development and I’m looking for forward thinking teams to help me test this new way to make decisions together.
