Since we’re shutting down #AllThingsTech, I’ll be find another home. I’m looking for one that's not large like Mastodon.social or anything similar, an instance that is run by a great admin and great moderators, has a post character limit of at least 1,500 characters and hopefully poll option limits of 8 - 10 or more.
If you know any instance that fits those requirements, please let me know. I'm open for suggestions from all of you as I'd love to find the best place to call home.

2025-01-11 23:33:06 UTC

The announcement that @nprofile…0wp3 and I made tonight with regards to #AllThingsTech shutting down in the coming weeks is something we had hoped would NEVER happen. But it’s something that unfortunately has to happen at this time.
Now the goal is to find myself a new home on the Fediverse and hope that everyone on our instance has no issues finding a new home as well.

Catpuccin Mocha UI for Mastodon: https://weblog.kylereddoch.me/2025/01/catpuccin-mocha-ui-for-mastodon
Theme based on @nprofile…jpfa BirdUI and @nprofile…dklm Catpuccin Mocha colors.
I made modifications to it to shift the compose section to the left and narrow the columns. Decided to make it public for everyone to use.

@nprofile…v998 @nprofile…0wp3 I am about to release my forked version. I am calling it Catpuccin Mocha UI for Mastodon. It will have the Compose section on the left side and the columns are a bit smaller in width.
I am working on the repo now and will push it. Then I will create a blog post about it. It will probably be tomorrow before it is out completely.

Good morning fellow #Fediverse friends.
We’ve made it to another Friday! What are everyone’s plans for today?
After the snowstorm yesterday, everything is frozen so work use delayed but I’m just doing to work from my home office. I’m thinking it’ll be a slow day because of the weather. Kids school was closed also.
After work not sure yet. Probably catch up on shows.
