I'll never forget all those tiktok vids of "a day working as a product manager at XYZ Corp" where they do nothing but attend meetings and eat food. Utterly disgusting.

I admit, at first I didn't trust it, but I've been getting it to spit out more and more complex scripts. I read every single line of code to check for errors, run them in sandboxes first, etc... and they work just fine. Even with all that cross checking it's still an efficiency gain. Can't deny the usefulness of the tool, it's like having a power drill available to drive screws when I've been using a normal screwdriver for years.
I fully agree with people's misgivings though. I only use AI in domains I'm already a subject matter expert or at least know enough not to get in trouble. When people who have no background start throwing stuff out there without an understanding of what it is, it's a recipe for disaster. There is a real risk of bringing up a generation of people who don't know how to actually do anything because of this tech.

Yep, you have to go further and further out from any economic center to find something. What's worse is that the quality of new construction is absolute shit (I wonder why 😂 ) so even if you do find something affordable it might be a money pit.

I feel so bad for them, there is no end in sight and no relief coming. The housing market will never self correct outside of an unpredictable major upheaval and even if it did unless you send all the 3rd world refuse back many neighborhoods won't be worth living in anyway.

It's because the infinite money printer (VC, PE, near 0% rates) has been available for quite some time so there has been zero cost for failure. Once that reverses it's gonna be a bloodbath and most of these execs are going to golden parachute away to either ruin something else or a posh retirement.

Yep, as bad as it is and as many problems as we have, it's nowhere near as bad as the Brits have it currently. I don't know how they stand it.

I'd lean more towards the 3rd option on this one. If they aren't anti-trans after getting their child murdered there is no hope, especially for the fathers in this case. You'd either have to be deeply brainwashed or bought off / threatened to bend the knee so easily.

And what incentives do the victims' families have to not release this information in this case? If it was my kid I'd have that trannifesto plastered anywhere I could get it posted to warn others about what they actually think.

Anyone who does their own grocery shopping can see it, it's in our faces every fucking day. Either the prices raise or the quantity of the item with in the container drops and it is VERY noticeable either way.

I just started it yesterday and it is pretty fun. Dude looks like a monkey because he is a monkey; the game is full of various animal people from Chinese mythology. In the enemy descriptions they insert little fables and stories relating to each one, and if nothing else it's interesting because it's a glimpse into the mythos of an alien culture that you don't usually get to see.

Rings similar to the "gig economy" that was being tossed around a while back. Sounds cool on the surface but really means being uncertain whether you'll be able to put food on the table week to week.

There's a fundamental logic error here though... as a grandparent you should WANT to watch over and spend time with your grandkids. It's like a reward you get for raising your own kids to adulthood because you get to enjoy all of the good with still being able to give them back to their parents at the end of the day. So the question is... what's changed?

The reason gamergate was hated so vehemently is the revelation that this collusion and directed messaging not only happens but is SOP for journalism as a whole. I hope more of this stuff leaks out, but even better if whoever's giving the directives is definitively revealed.

Not surprising in the least for NoA. Anything the West touches eventually turns to shit, especially from studios located on the west coast and Canada where fags and trannies are able to run rampant with little pushback. Once they're entrenched in the corporate structure there's no getting rid of them.
