So, being from a small town, you never really run into big city problems. But after coming home yesterday morning I was essentially mugged. Held at gunpoint and made to give up the money in my pockets. Course no help from local law enforcement. As they deemed that no evidence exists that a mugging took place. Unfortunately they took the money that was needed to live off of for the next week. No family and no one to ask for help. Not sure how this is going to go.

And there it is. About time.

One final exam away. I had considered quitting about a year or so ago. Between work and being a full time single dad, it was getting to be too much. I'm glad I didn't. To anyone struggling with balancing school and life, push through it. Don't stop. I promise you'll regret it. I know I did when I stopped years ago just to join the workforce full time. Yes, it's stressful. Yes, it's a lot of work. News flash: it's supposed to be. You'll be happier in the end sticking it out. Wish me luck today. Final round is about to start.

I need help finding a lawyer. The area of expertise would need to be workplace harassment. Of all types. I appreciate anyone's help.

8 weeks away from completing my last two classes. Then I get to graduate college. Took me a while. I went the long way 'round. But I made it.

Im still on the market. I am currently employed, but desperately need to get away from the specific industry I'm in. For my mental health and the wellbeing of myself and my son. Im a single father and my son has no one to count on but me. I can supply an extensive resume.
If anyone has any leads on a job I would be even remotely suited for, remote work being the key, please dm me.
Thank you in advance.

#Ashigaru, like #Samourai before it, is the best mobile #Bitcoin wallet.

So I uninstalled and re-installed Primal and it's working again. Weird. I had the latest version but some things look different. Perhaps it didn't update correctly the last time. Anyway, all good now.

Looking for a Bitcoin based company in need of customer support.
I have 25 years managerial experience in sales and customer service.
If you're in need of customer care/support, I'm your guy!

First time posting to Nostr on a web interface. I've always just used a mobile app in the past. I do like Primal's UI/UX so far.

Privacy and freedom are the most important parts of #Bitcoin. Period. NGU bros do nothing but muck it all up.

It's false to say that there are 2 sides to every story. There are always three. And that 3rd side is usually where the truth lives.

I have to get on NOSTR more. I don't have much time for social media, but everytime I open this app, I remember how cool it is.

Instead of complaining about everything that went wrong today that kept me from enjoying my day, I'm choosing to reflect on everything I learned and know now I need to cut a lot of things and/or people out of my daily routine. Would certainly make things simpler.

Making a serious effort to get back to regular NOSTR notes and activity overall. I see lots of improvements to UI in Damus. Here we go, 2024!

One life goal I have, and yes, it’s shallow but hey, it’s probably one of the only shallow things I’ve done in a long time, is to get zapped on here by #[0] . Just so I can tell my son it happened when Nostr was still small. Anyway. Have a great day everyone!

I have a technical question and I don’t know who to ask. The question is, why is the normal size of the #Bitcoin mempool only 300MB? I know, it’s still a lot of txs, but still. Anyone?

I have to say it, but Breedlove, in my eyes, really messed up again with that joke of a hardware wallet/signing device. I haven’t really paid attention to him since that Shitclout incident. Lost my respect altogether.

So, I’ve been getting paid in Bitcoin 100% for a while now. Like more than a year easily. And with everything happening with the banks right now, I’m more than glad I made the leap and figured out how to live on Bitcoin. At least I know where my money is, and even more importantly, that it’s actually mine.

2023-03-16 17:32:34 UTC

One thing I always think about is emergencies. Like, I always set up my main chain wallets to be accessible on desktop and on mobile, just in case. You never know. Anyone else do that, or am I the only one?

I’m the same way. Weird saying that. I buy distilled water to drink. The tap water where I live is…. well, I’ll shower in it, and that’s about it.

I think a lot of Bitcoiners have moved over. Some have yet to. The challenge might be in getting normies to move over. You know, the ones who’ve never heard of private/public key schemes. But, that’s also another avenue to orange pill now that I think about it.

Anyone have any experience with Kratom? Experimenting with taking it as a supplement and wanted to get some real world opinions. Medical websites are obviously biased. Can PM me or comment. Which ever you want.
