Yes hello friends
How are you today ?
I know I’ve been gone for a while. What’s new ?

It’s like people are the walking dead. You look them in the eye and there’s nothing. And it’s these people that get activated as soon as you come near the switch.
You have to have some disdain, but it’s not like personal disdain. Because it’s almost like they don’t have their own persons.

You raise a good question. But inequality as such here is not the problem.
There's nothing wrong with having 4 billions per se. If a billionaire got their money through dishonest means, attack the dishonest means, not the fact that he's a billionaire on egalitarian grounds.
You'd the truth a huge disservice by mischaracterizing this problem as an inequality problem rather than a dishonesty problem.

Russia should be very embarrassed today.

Oh yes, then it's the fault of men.
But where are these men coming from ? Hmm, cat got your tongue now huh ?

Yes, but you have to admit that we're doing it pathologically now. What principles oblige us to take in people who openly declare their hatred for us, and that they want our demise ?
For example, it's one thing to speak out in support of Palestine and it's another to say "France will become a muslim country in the next decade and there's nothing you can do to stop it". Or that they're here to take revenge on France for perceived oppression during the colonial era.
This should have no place in polite society.

The muslim situation can be solved in a week if we but stop tying our hands on principle.

No but it truly pisses me off.
A government worthy of its name will remind the commission of technocrats that they hold zero executive power in Brussels. All it takes is just someone with balls to tell von der Leyen to shut up and sit down.

God I hope they send them back.
France suffers from a similar issue where the municipalities buy entire buildings for a fraction of its market price to make social housing driving the price of remaining real estate.
It’s a real problem especially in big cities like Paris where 1/3 of all real estate is social housing. It’s huge. Putting these properties back on the market would drive down the prices immediately.

This is exactly the same phenomenon we’re saying with AI and the data centers that are sprouting everywhere, creating fake demand just to keep a semblance of economical growth.

Reminds me of the simpler college days where I had to model industrial robots and drones and implement the control solutions. Simpler days really.

A few days ago, I needed to do some numerical analysis, so I dusted off a python library I wrote for solving differential equations 5 years ago now. I also kind of cringed at how naive I was in my implementation of certain things, so I started re-implementing in a more mature way so to speak. Seeing these old files shows how much you've changed throughout the years.
