#RedOctober 4 The #Phillies

I'm a tech writer who focuses on digital #privacy & #security. Sometimes #politics & #comedy for shitz and giggles.

I’m a longtime systems admin who worked at places you’d recognize. I’m an avid surfer 🌊 🏄‍♂️, animal rescuer 🐈🐱, a lifelong #Phillies fan ⚾️🏟️, an improviser, a loving husband, and a VERY proud poppa.

I support #BLM #LGBTQIA+ #science and - as a proud #jewish man - the unequivocal right for the State of #Israel to exist.

this toot is an example of extremism, not getting what it demands:
“He didn’t condemn what *I* wanted him to condemn!“
This toot is an example of hatred:
“I don’t want people to feel sorry about #Israel being attacked by #iran so let’s talk about #gaza instead.”
This toot is an example of ignorance: the unprecedented attack by #iran on Israel is in retaliation for the #jewish state killing the leaders of #hezbollah not bombing Gaza.
Either you condemn violence or not.

Thank you for making clear to everyone on this VERY public thread, including your future employers in France, that you support #hezbollah and #terrorism
As France is one of the nations that lists this #Iran backed army as a #Terror group, Good luck with landing a new job anytime soon.

20 nations list them as a #terrorist organization.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_relations_of_Hezbollah#Designation_as_a_terrorist_organization
So, I guess just leave them alone and bake cookies while they launch thousands of missiles at you?

No, actually. I was referring to the *decades* long history regarding the many hundreds of command & weapons centers that #hamas and #hezbollah - and the #plo before them - routinely place in or near schools, hospitals, and other locations to intentionally place their own civilians in harm’s way.
But thanks so much for your bullshit, false equivalency. We all see that you’re suggesting the region’s only democracy is the same as #terrorist groups.

I’m just curious about why you do not ALSO have a problem with this #iran backed #terror group intentionally placing their fucking military command center under residential buildings, intentionally using civilians as shields.
That’s some fucking bullshit right there.

FFS: in case you forgot (and you didn’t) what’s at stake in this #election here’s what you need to know about the issue of #abortion from a #cnn story in this attached post.
#Women being jailed. For miscarrying.
#Black women being disproportionately targeted.
Da FUQ, people?? Wake up and smell the totalitarian.

For those who don’t understand just how much #Biden has accomplished for America despite #republicans blocking him every step of the way is formidable.
Helluva term as our #potus and his legacy will last for generations as a result.
As always, Heather Cox Richardson nails it.

Ah, another arrogant douchecanoe telling me who or what I am, what being a #jew should be according to him or why defending a country’s right to exist = supporting atrocities.
It’s like you’re 5.

My job isn’t prove my credibility to you. Or anyone. If you don’t think I’m credible then ignore or block me. Or MAYBE read through my timeline and dig deeper.
Stop being lazy. I won’t spoon feed you.
That being said, I’m a #jew and have friends and family in #israel - a country I love. So yeh: you’ll see me defending its right to exist from rabid #antisemites on this platform.

respectfully disagree. Per @npub1afm…5gp4 :
But the attack *requires*:
👉 *physically opening the YubiKey enclosure*
👉 physical access to the YubiKey *while it is authenticating*
👉 non-trivial electronics lab equipment
There’s nothing brief (or cheap) about that.
This is a proof of execution that #yubikey should fix, not a global panic alert.

Yes, let’s talk ethics.
1) Stop citing numbers of dead. It’s unethical as it cannot define what is or isn’t a just war.
2) Stop citing the numbers of schools & hospitals destroyed without also providing context. THAT is unethical. #hamas places their combat units IN those locations. And have for decades. Geneva Conventions be damned! They put their OWN people at great risk because they are savage #terrorists

Why do you choose to use math instead of morals/ethics here? There is no math that justifies the slaughtering of 1200 innocent participants at a music festival.
Math isn’t a consideration when determining whether or not a country is just in defending itself or when trying to rescue its hostages.

BREAKING: #hamas just murdered six most #hostages JUST as the #IDF started to gain ground on their location.
All shot in the head at close range. Because, you know, that’s how REAL peace loving people show their willingness to agree to a #ceasefirenow
Guessing that’s as horrific to you - if not more so - than a disappeared doctor?
