@nprofile…tf02 I would go for Miles Davis in New York circa 1970.

@nprofile…hzyj If I was in charge of the NHS there are 2 areas in which I would start investing.
1. Diagnostics - pathology and radiology. Screening programmes. This would improve early diagnosis and treatments in less bed intensive settings.
2. District Nurses - probably the most undervalued staff by decision makers. They have the skills to support patients in the community where they usually prefer to be treated.
And of course tackle the health/social care interface disaster.

@nprofile…gzp3 What about the World Cup? I'm sure most of the Tartan Army have their moments on social media.

@nprofile…35ec No, it was about Robin size. It was also a very unusual shape, quite compressed, not long slim shape. This goes against wheatear which was one of our ideas. Someone has suggested shrike which we have not considered.

Today we saw a bird that has left us completely puzzled.
Seen in woodland in the Welsh Marches, it looked exhausted and may have been migrating.
It was about Robin sized and had a lot of pink. We got a very poor photo which shows the pink head and grey back. The tail was very pink.
Anyone any ideas of the species.
Help.

@nprofile…9fyy @nprofile…xzjz As a German Shepherd owner, I nearly always keep her on at least an extendable lead. This is the advice I have always read. The only exception might be a very quiet, beach, but in reality I don't as she would eat sand or get it down her ear.
Some dogs need to train their owners better. Complete idiot, and dangerous with it.
Hope you and Summer are safe.

@nprofile…98e3 @nprofile…efxf Scotland is a wonderful country, but the dark winters would be a major problem for me. It is bad enough in the Welsh Marches. I am solar powered. Bring me sunshine.

@nprofile…98e3 Clearly he has talent. Shame the school is not good enough to develop him. Not a good advert for the school at any level.

@nprofile…98e3 If this is true, it feels like fraud by inflating the company's assets.
Yet again, my question is where were the auditors. They have signed off accounts which include assets that should not exist on consolidation. Investors, customers and suppliers are not being protected by auditors who fail to do their job thoroughly.

Please take care in the UK with Storm Darragh. This sounds very serious, hope everyone stays safe.
Having made a short journey this afternoon, we were surprised by the amount of water on the roads, and very high river level. Dreading what will happen in Tenbury. Also hearing that the Welsh coast is already wild.

Brexit
Covid
Climate change
There, I have said them. Now perhaps the media and Government could discuss and address them. It's like living in a strange Dad's Army episode where you can't say the secret words Pike.

@npub1mqx…xqll I think I would go for Miles Davis not sure what era. Maybe late 60s, but he was always special, very different from the artists I have seen.

21st April and this year I have seen 0 Swallow, 0 House Martin and heard 0 Cuckoo.
30 years ago that would have been unthinkable. Humans have destroyed the environment and ecology at an astounding speed, and governments act to increase the destruction.
