GM. Bitcoin nearly larger than all physical cash money supplies in the world. Only one left to beat is the dollar: https://i.nostr.build/bskjSVPPODr548vz.png
Note, the puck will keep moving, we have a while to go to beat all physical cash together ($9.4 trillion), but we will get there soon enough.

Thanks for comments. Brass tacks, for the negative $150 billion a year deficit that Social Security runs each year, that net negative amount is added to the debt.
It doesn’t matter if the Trust Fund existed, or not, what I just said would occur the same each year.
It is true that, technically, the Trust Fund is “off balance sheet” of the Treasury and holds assets, but those assets are just “receivables due” from other branches of government. And the government doesn’t run surpluses, so again, you just get back to creating another $150 billion in debt each year.
And that means, for all those prior surpluses in Social Security since the 1930s, that money is gone, and these new deficits are in fact “taxed twice” in the name of Social Security.

Sorry for my delayed reply, I need to get on here more than YT! Thanks for the comments. You’re absolutely right, it should be a straight line. The standard functions with that chart engine don’t work well on log-log, so I need to work on that. Maybe will just show it in Google or something as a temporary solution for some of those. But on my website it is also in log-log in an interactive format: https://www.porkopolis.io/thechart/

11/ Here's a table that shows how these assets have progressed over #Bitcoin's life.
The table only includes the top five currencies, gold, silver, and Bitcoin.
Quite remarkable. https://image.nostr.build/724254e85c27a00abff7d479a52ad0103e040b38173edb4b8ef7d49c90c026b4.png

9/ Now let's back up and take a look at the top ten fiats, but layer in gold & silver (base money of the past), and #Bitcoin (base money of the future).
This is the whole enchilada. This is 🤜all the settlement money🤛 in the world. https://image.nostr.build/be9a65ca77331c49b57d9300105f5328809def5f3fb8690381ef449a7bd21b8f.png

8/ However, if you want to understand the long-term trends of money printing, you need to measure the all-time growth of each currency's stock.
That chart is here. See how no money has 'negative growth' under this lens.
Due to compounding, it's about 1% per month, worldwide... https://image.nostr.build/caea2159494d755946228500cd5973ac95537121961567ccdb73b1787bad00d7.png

7/ Now for monetary inflation; or, in the classic sense, the 'growth in the stock' of base money.
Though central banks have indeed been shrinking the money supply (which causes a rise in interest rates), over the last year, the global stock of money still increased 2.6%. https://image.nostr.build/bbb54c69306ed660482ee6dc9dff42ce0e0dee8b5a498dd211a9efa3e78c486a.png
