What would be nice is a Melbourne Fediverse meet up, open to everyone.
I know it's hard to organise, but I have time, and lots of places I can organise it for.
It'd be nice to see who is keen.
What I see as the main things needed are: somewhere central to Melbourne (city or surrounds), safe for queers, safe for kids, and non-meat eater friendly (yeh, I eat meat, but I get it) if people want food/snacks.
They also need to be aware of it, and happy to cater to the people turning up

from my understanding, from my Turkish ex-brother-in-law is the type of sardine matters, especially for fresh. I'm not usually a fan, but he got some frozen Turkish sardines in, cooked them over a fire, and we smashed them. Even my 3-year-old daughter (at the time) ate like 5.
I think I might have had epok epok before, but when I was a kid. I recall maybe having it in Singapore, or at a restaurant in Bangkok
