食 Shoku the Umbreon

Lv 42 retired guardian angel and solar panel manufacturer from Minnesota (shocking, I know). Maker, gamer, self-proclaimed chef, part-time mad scientist, adjunct virtual spaceship pilot for SMBOrg. Unhealthy amounts of silly, not a significant source of vitamin C. He/him, pan + looking.

because of how long it takes that light to reach us, we can't be sure what the universe actually even looks like. We are literally gazing into the past.

To be fair, being a professional driver just means you found someone willing to pay you to do it. It doesn't necessarily mean you act professional.

of course not, but it just doesn't seem like the sort of thing that should be ending up in a landfill. Not to mention their reasoning is a little less than reassuring. "Nothing contaminated by radiation made it through, but you should throw all of it out anyway."

so the FDA is recommending that people throw something in the trash that possibly had contact with a radioactive element.

I mean what's the context here? I don't have any but the local shops carry it. I do otherwise have my selection of artisanal hot sauces. But of course, neither my shops nor myself are near you geographically.

I can't tell if you are referring to your location, or the Fediverse. If the latter, yes, I have a smart charger that does LiFePO4. I like using those for cosplay electronics.

Andrew left the helmets with me and asked me to glue them together. Unfortunately, he did not have the pieces grouped together correctly. Now one of them has an overbite and one of them has an underbite. Damn thing looks like it's smiling.

Aunt went to get dinner for us today, I spent most of the day in bed because sad. She forgot that we don't go to the Coon Rapids location anymore because, well, they suck.

2025-04-13 00:02:22 UTC

And this is why I don't go to the Culver's in Coon Rapids anymore. WTF is this? If you ever needed proof that filling up the entire cup with ice was a scam, this is what they do if you tell them no ice.

After having it for I don't know how many years, finally opened up my hydroponics kit. I have 12 spots for growing small things. I know I'm doing sweet basil but I don't need 12 basil plants so I need to figure out what else I want.
Before anyone suggests it, I am very much not in favor of recreational drugs. I don't care what you do, I don't want it around me.

Short squirt of Mio fruit punch really made this some good yogurt.
