Though visually lovely, full justification isn't about aesthetics but rather a visual simplification to clarify. It proves its worth by streamlining the presentation to aid the moving eye.
You can read smoothly enough with a ragged right margin, but that ragged edge isn't helping things, either.
An elegant full justification eschews hyphenation through careful kerning that can ripple through a paragraph—an expense considered worthwhile by a considerate readership.

The font is Adobe Caslon Pro, a fine choice hampered here by a too-large line-height and a font size too small for that line width.
Combined, those metrics maroon each word in a sea of white space that confuses the moving eye and impedes comprehension.
Typography is an art that cannot be precisely defined, a taste that seeks clarity to liberate meaning.
Your multi-columns reduce white space to better guide the eye (good), but would likely tire for longer works (bad).

The original is definitely awkward, but if the review is long for me a single column *elegantly presented* would likely beat out a multiple-column layout.

It must be quietly satisfying to find a small and still-functional part in clear need of replacement—and to replace it.

That wedge looks awesome.
It's wonderful to see you write about these things, especially amid growing proposals to lock down 3D printing generally to thwart certain applications.
Even simple posts like this one illustrate how technology aids your efforts, and highlight the value of the community and shared templates.
I'm not even a printer myself, but appreciate its utility and potential.
