🚨Breaking🚨
Last night, in what is significant overreach for a backbench Peer, Hilary Cass sent a document to every single MP and Peer, justifying and defending the puberty blockers trial.
I have posted below the full document for people to read. Here is my initial response:
She comes across as completely biased and her reasoning is flawed.
She states that there is no evidence base to determine safety of puberty blockers but concludes with the categorical statement: “I am not worried about the safety of the children and young people in the trial”.
She explains away risks to infertility and sexual functioning.
She uses warped logic around impact to bone density (claiming that children without puberty blockers will be less socially active and this may cause bone issues regardless).
She downplays the utility of the linkage study.
She speaks glowingly about the “benefit of stopping unwanted puberty”.
She believes the State should give children puberty blockers, otherwise they will get them through the black market.
She is an ideologue masquerading as an independent clinician.

🚨Important Announcement: Puberty Blockers Judicial Review🚨
Following months of radio silence, I’m saddened to report that the government has announced that it is pushing forward with the puberty blockers trial, regardless of the significant ethical concerns raised that led to the temporary pause.
Most troubling of all is that they are now refusing to halt recruitment of children until the end of the Judicial Review that we are bringing.
As such, we have no choice but to seek an emergency injunction to block a single child being recruited and given this poison. There will be a hearing at the end of July to determine this.
Please rest assured that I and the entire team will be pursuing this Judicial Review all the way.
[@jamesmurray_ldn](https://bird.makeup/users/jamesmurray_ldn ) - Just as with your predecessor, Wes Streeting, we implore you to do the right thing and pull the plug on this monstrosity of a trial. If you don’t, we will see you in Court.

🧵10 things we need to do in order to eradicate gender ideology from British society:
1. Repeal the Gender Recognition Act 2004.
2. Remove the protected characteristic of ‘gender reassignment’ from the Equality Act 2010.
3. Permanently ban and criminalise puberty blockers.
4. Permanently ban and criminalise cross-sex hormones.
5. Permanently ban and criminalise ‘sex re-assignment surgeries’.
6. Close all ‘gender clinics’ and bring children who believe themselves to be in the wrong body back into the central mental health system.
7. Cancel the government proposal to introduce legislation banning talking therapies (under the guise of ‘conversion therapy’).
8. Sever the ‘LGB’ from the ‘T’ in all public policies and protocols.
9. Remove all trans ideological symbolism from public buildings.
10. Ban schools from teaching gender ideology.
Any others? Post them below.

🚨Here is a photograph taken at a classical studies summer school for 16 year olds at Wadham College at the University of Oxford.
A male lecturer wearing fetish gear (including a BDSM collar) is teaching children about womanhood.
@npub19fa…vly0 - This is a safeguarding concern.

🚨Important Announcement: Keira Bell and James Esses challenge proposed UK clinical trial of puberty blockers🚨
Myself and the indefatigable Keira Bell (@KLBfax) have instructed a legal team to write to the Health Research Authority, warning them that, if the proposed trial goes ahead, we will bring a claim for judicial review.
We made this decision because of our joint concerns for the safety of children and the fact that the proposed clinical trial would violate numerous ethical, regulatory and legislative requirements.
Full details, along with quotes from myself and Keira, can be found in the below press release.
