“Fear is the mind killer”
Fear can be a useful tool when immediate danger is present.
Fear is only useful when
it calls you to — action —, fight or flight.
‘Freeze’ can also be an effective action but is more often than not a scapegoat excuse for — inaction —.
That is the real devil, that is the real mind killer.

The truth is immutable, until it is not. Belief in one correct truth is where the hubris comes in.
Religion and science both claim it, neither can prove it. So it is not an immutable THE TRUTH.
It is just a shared agreement of reality, the truth so far.
Without agreement there is no truth.
With agreement there is only consensus, not truth.
The only truth is that there is no truth, just those that use the concept of truth to manipulate and deceive

You are correct. I said it that way for a reason and should not be rewritten to fit personal beliefs
Anyone putting belief above truth is a fool or a sage, only time will reveal the difference.
Being honest and humble enough to allow others their belief as their truth is far superior to demanding others respect your truth without the respect of reciprocating.
Your last statement about denial is100% true; so does it apply to belief.
I find the original post hypocritical and disingenuous as THE TRUTH is intact unknowable. Just claiming the truth’s existence is either ignorance or deception.
We can only accept and acknowledge the truth so far.

Unfortunately even THE TRUTH is not absolute.
It is only THE TRUTH based on current knowledge. THE TRUTH, so far.
Religion, science, society in any form, all conflate THE TRUTH with their belief of the truth for their own benefit.

Just don’t be careless about what you care less about.
A few well-chosen cares will allow you to live more with less energy.

And this is where “but the kids” argument leads.
TBH of any major technology company this is the ‘least bad’ solution to stay legally relevant for a dystopianly bad mandate by multiple overreaching governments and still preserve some resemblance of sovereignty.
This is *not* apple’s preference. It is a mandate put on them. However the choice to play ball is infact their decision, because shareholders.
This is not condoning the fact but highlighting that any player who is big enough will either bend the knee or become smaller by force.
Even open and Independent is irrelevant until it is not. When it becomes relevant it becomes vulnerable and therefore less relevant or illegal 🏴‍☠️
Trust no one. Verify everything.

Balance is such a terrible thing to chase. Sure it is good to practice balance whenever possible, it keeps you nimble. It is simply unsustainable long term and too easy to lose without constant effort.
When things are really out of control or you are exhausted from the struggle, you need to learn to harmonize with the jazz of life. Not everybody can achieve Herbie Hancock levels but once you find that groove, it’s sustainable for as long as the music is playing.
