Hello there!

I boost a lot of posts, but I have a few things to say every now and then.

I am largely fine with boosting posts from people I disagree with even on significant, dividing issues. I usually don't, however, if they actively advocate for these ideas... so it goes :/

I may have not phrased that well

It would be a cool trend if open-source projects changed their licenses to say that businesses with over a certain amount of profit have to pay a certain slice of that profit.
Like what you're saying, right?

One one hand, governments and corporations shouldn't have to pay for using open-source software since it is explicitly provided Free....
On the other hand, it's not really fair when some poor maintainer finds themselves maintaining a project that a lot of people really depend on (the #XZbackdoor comes to mind).

One of my relatives who works from home had the same issue; battery swelling pushing the touchpad out. I removed the battery for him and he would just power it from the wall.
Is this an HP laptop by any chance? Bang & Olufsen IIRC?

I don't understand some of the antagonism against AI -- ML-based human language translators are nice for example. Though that's not technically "AI", is it.
Does Firefox's page translation feature use ML? They used the word "model" https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features/translate/
