Like the international law-breaking, civilian-appearing planes being used for terrorism against civilians on the high seas, there is nothing civil about it.

At the very least they should all be forced to immediately resign their seats and dismissed from Albertans' legislature.
The certainly should not be allowed to participate in any law making.

In Canada the feds transfer a whack of cash to the provinces for healthcare, who in turn decide their own delivery methods.
Theoretically the provinces are supposed to provide HC services as outlined in the Canada Health Act, but Alberta's premiere/admin. are acolytes of orban, 45, and the house of saud, and are currently ruling by decree, stripping their citizens of constitutionally guaranteed rights with impunity

For access to the level of TIMELY healthcare they've already paid into for their entire working lives?
Apparently it's roughly $5,000 for families and $2,000 for an adult in Alberta now.
"Health Canada said a membership system was contrary to a federal law protecting people from paying for medically necessary care, as it meant Albertans were paying for preferential access to doctors."

The investment, the premiums paid by Albertans into their public healthcare insurance system over a lifetime of work are being flat-out
STOLEN
by privatization:
They paid into the public system their whole working lives, but now they must pay up again, privately.

If a party's leader refuses to apply for the most basic security clearance,
That's a red flag
If he is also unwilling to apply specifically in order to avoid viewing a critical report on foreign interference in the nation's political system:
That's a helluva red flag.
If his desire for inscrutability is happening when the nation is under threat of annexation by the deranged leader of a larger, heretofore imperialist neighbour
That's a flag so red it burns. Don't get burnt.

An elected representative has the democratically conferred 'power' to write laws, introduce motions, etc. by way of a mandate from the masses.

I always hesitate to post quotes from J. London's Iron Heel, but the boot fits:
"In reality, the country was ruled by what were called 'political machines'. At first the bosses charged the master capitalists extortionate tolls for legislation, but in a short time the master capitalists found it cheaper to own the political machines themselves and hire machine bosses."
