After making jam from #CornelianCherries, what can one do with the remainder of kernels, peels and bits of fruit flesh that didn't make it through the sieve?
Has anyone tried fermenting it into wine? Or adding it to grape mash?

Mind blown: The blogpost also contains a (to me completely new) take on the impacts of #CoVID lockdowns:
> In April 2020, the US personal savings rate hit a historic 33%. Economists attributed this to stimulus checks. But the math tells a different story...
> • Childcare ($32k): Suspended...
> • Commuting ($15k): Suspended.
> • Work Lunches/Clothes ($5k): Suspended.
> ... earning $80,000 suddenly felt rich ... because the leak in the bucket was plugged.
Which somewhat explains the rage later.

What the #MiddleClass probably knows instinctively, explained explicitly: #USPol
> At $40,000, you are drowning, but the state gives you a life vest. At $100,000, you are drowning, but the state says you are a “high earner” and ties an anchor to your ankle called “Market Price.”

Would be interesting to learn, whether this pattern/problem occurs in Germany as well.

Hoffentlich hast Du Recht.

How long should bamboo cuttings be dried in the sun, so they can then be used in #gardening projects, without them re-sprouting?
Are they dead within days or rather weeks?

Ooops, I'm so sorry @npub106g…uas2 ! Saw only now that your offer _also_ includes "reminders to keep up your learning habit each week". So, that'd essentially be spaced repetition as well, I guess? I didn't intend to steal your limelight :-( cc @npub10x9…65z7

I can highly recommend https://www.executeprogram.com/courses/
It has spaced repetition built-in :-) Helped me learn reg-exes and basic SQL by heart, after many years of looking up basics each time.

So interesting, that those products were launched just as the population-level experiment with unmitigated #SARSCoV2 (re)infections started.
