The great thing about intellectual honesty is that it's usually very well received. It makes you appear vulnerable and cooperative, so the people you're talking to have no reason to get defensive or dismissive. It's very rare that it's a bad move.

"Most people never ask these questions because belonging to a tribe is easier than examining one."
I agree with your entire post, but I think this part explains the majority. Thinking itself as well as learning hoe to think takes a lot of work. Most people simply never do the work. For the few who do, you are correct about context and framing.

That is a fine explanation of natural law, but I'm still struggling to see how the NAP derives from it. In fact the NAP seems quite unnatural to me. For a very long time violence was the winning strategy.

Why do you call the NAP a natural law, rather than just a really good principle to organize around? How does it derive from nature? I don't see how it does. At least not in the same way that private property does.

This is exactly right. In other words people want 60s USA middle class money. Though I have to wonder how much different the picture would be if they forewent the 2025 model car, the latest iPhone and Playstation, and brand name clothes.

The "Fractal of Bad Design" was bound to fall in the secpocalypse. Pretty unsurprising in retrospect.

Your content has given me a new perspective on what's going on in the shadows and I thank you for that. ❤️
That said, please don't perpetuate the self-censorship that other platforms are undoubtedly forcing on you. Nostr is a free speech zone where such childish contortions are unnecessary.

I know the conditioning on other platforms are bad, but around these parts you'll rightly get called out for self-censorship like "k*lled". It's OK, you can (and should) speak freely here.

No-one should use this. It excludes all privacy conscious users. This is a silly but good example of trading freedom for security.
Luckily it's self-selecting. I won't be able to use any service that uses that blocklist. Good riddance.

We can still have artisanal code, just like we have artisanal woodwork, handmade by carpenters in the "old way". They'll continue to have their place, but not among the most productive.

If this was true we'd have no small or weak states. They are still the majorty.
Anarcho-capitalism is not utopian; it doesn't make any assumption about the absence of "bad actors". Quite the contrary.
