I like the fact #harriswalz are anticipating Trump to prematurely claim victory on Wednesday night - and to have a rapid response comms strategy ready to go to counter any media narrative/momentum from Trump's ploy.

Jill Stein's personal money-making model is to run as a stalking horse candidate for the GOP every 4 years under the coopted "Greens" banner. She receives millions in funding - including Russian & GOP largesse.
It's a total con. And anyone who gives them her vote is being royally conned.

#gaza is a humanitarian tragedy of immense proportions and demands urgent resolution.
But there's also Sudan - where sexual warfare against women is being waged on an unimaginable scale.
#Sudan seems to have little interest for the activist community in the West.

Lots of positive signs...as VP said the momentum is with us ~
EV voting/registered party = significant % of GOP + independent voters have voted for #harriswalz
Quality, non-partisan pollsters in last week consistently showing 2-4% advantage for Harris.
In EV, D's gaining in MI & WI and even in PA; closing gap in NC & NV.
@npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-29 20:38:28 UTC

For multiple reasons, #JillStein is Trump & Putin's Trojan Horse.
Her sole purpose and role is to draw votes away from Harris.
She's bankrolled by Putin & Trump allies (the receipts are there), only appears every 4 years and has no political career of any national substance.
Do not waste your vote on her candidacy.
Your assumed ideological purism is facilitating American fascism.

its arguably the best political speech I've ever heard. She laid open her soul on this one. It was extraordinary in its power, honesty and insight.

The VP was eloquent and passionate yesterday in Houston on reproductive freedom.
No one can prosecute the case better than her. No one.
This will help #ColinAllred in "ground zero" for abortion Texas and add resolve to moderate Republican and independent voters.
And Beyonce helped amplify the message manifold.

2024-10-26 17:11:37 UTC

By quashing the Harris endorsements - the story is now about the cowardice of two billionaires in the face of a Hitler-adjacent con man.
Bezos has taken a revered publication and trashed it. The brand is forever sullied. Patrick Soon-Shiong has done the same with the LA Times (although it doesn't have the same storied history as Wapo).
Integrity does matter. And the non-endorsements ironically help Harris. @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-22 21:31:55 UTC

USA 2024:
A candidate for POTUS says "I need the kind of Generals that Hitler had".
Prior to 2016, a statement that would be roundly condemned by the media and would immediately disqualify the candidate. Trump's extremism and monstrousness have been normalised. @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-22 17:44:21 UTC

When you live in an authoritarian dictatorship - the state creates a culture of reporting on your workmates, neighbours, friends and even family members for any perceived disloyalty against the great leader. I really don't think MAGA understand this. @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-16 07:15:51 UTC

Does the fact that Marc Elias has a team of 70 lawyers, 5 of the 7 battleground States have Dem Governors and a majority have Dem Secretaries of State, the incumbent President & VP are Democrats, the Democratic Party has a better than even chance in regaining the House...help in stopping Trump/Vance in trying to overturn the election if it's a Harris win? @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-14 17:46:56 UTC

#KamalaHarris is doing media that goes well beyond traditional Democratic audiences...she's reaching out to undecided, wavering and independent voters. At the same time, the VP, Walz and her surrogates are laser focused on the battleground States. She's working really really hard to get this across the line. @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-13 16:51:33 UTC

To publicly assert that anyone who "doesn't support me" is in effect an enemy of America...is peak dictator. And that's where the GOP campaign is at. This is Putin, Maduro, Kim Jong Un. And the MAGA lemmings are in lock step marching off the cliff to the "dream" of a brutal repressive dictatorship. @npub1z4k…g27u

2024-10-13 15:31:22 UTC

Entering the final stage...keep believing, keep working. The insanity on the other side is their desperation.
#KamalaHarris still ahead in popular vote & Rust Belt swing state averages + NC is very gettable. Dems crushing EV no's.
Remember they want you to get depressed and not show up. When Dems GOTV they win. @npub1z4k…g27u

Olivia Troye is a brave and incisive critic of Trump and the Trump administration.

2024-09-13 12:48:14 UTC

Trump is obviously cognitively declining - this practically means the ultra-extreme and massively unqualified Vance could (in effect) be President. This is something #harriswalz should highlight more. @npub1z4k…g27u

When Dick & Liz Cheney support a Democrat for President - you know they utterly abhore the GOP candidate. #kamalaharris #uspol #harriswalz

2024-08-28 19:21:48 UTC

Ok so media criticize her for not doing an interview and now they criticize her for doing an interview with her running mate.
Never happy...always finding fault.
Trump only does softball interviews/pressers with friendly partisan "journalists" and handpicked media - but this is rarely mentioned. Big Double Standard. #harriswalz #kamalaharris @npub1u97…c75y @npub1z4k…g27u

In debates the non-verbal is important. #harris has 4 key non-verbal strengths:
* She has strong, well-shaped hands that she uses to great effect - esp using her index finger to admonish/emphasise.
* 1000 megawatt smile - by comparison Trump's "smile" is tight/grimace-like.
* She has a withering "don't mess with me" look - that stares down opponents.
* Her hair - is literally a shimmering shield of strength & sass, enhancing her vigour.

Coward Trump has started the process of backing out of ABC's Sept 10 debate by whining that the moderators will be biased.
Truth: he's terrified of the prospect that #kamalaharris has a better than even chance of making him look even more ridiculous than he already is. #harriswalz @npub1u97…c75y #coward

"Trump is an Unserious Man".
This is such a clever barb with a multitude of layers & meanings. It's something Trump could never conceive and is likely struggling to comprehend.
It alludes to his lack of discipline, his unwillingness to study or analyse anything in any depth, his buffoonery involving childish names and infantile voices, the absence of respect from other world leaders, the absurd simplicity of his opinions and more.

You're not just voting for the USA, you're voting for the rest of the world.
More Trump empowers other autocrats and crushes millions of others' freedoms globally, and denies women/POC/Lgbtq+ their rights and advances everywhere. It means accelerated climate devastation as well.
In the nations that are amongst your very closest allies, we're supporting #democrats and #harriswalz with passion and hope.@npub1u97…c75y

Global Context:
All of the just announced Harris economic opportunity policies have been proposed (and many implemented) by other centrist and mildly centre-left gvts in other western democracies.
So when the GOP pundits and politicians hysterically screech "communism" and "extreme left" they're effectively railing against all of the US' closest allies. #kamalaharris #harriswalz @npub1u97…c75y

When Musk bought Twitter I couldn't remain on the platform - even though I'd built up a decent following, and enjoyed immensely interacting with followers and accounts all over the world. It also served as my quick intl news feed.
I then found Mastadon - and it's been a slow journey in terms of activity and interactivity, but with the US election its really taken off and I love and appreciate @npub1tx7…gew8 whose Trump trial reporting is unsurpassed #auspol #nzpol #uspol

repeat...I've never expressed the view that what is happening in Gaza can and should be ignored. I truly believe Harris has got their message and is working to conclude a binding ceasefire. Its not straightforward...there are many moveable parts to achieving a BINDING ceasefire.

I respectfully beg to differ...framing an incredibly complex situation as a simple "goodies v baddies" ignores the role of other Arab nations, other western orgs (UN/EU), multiple internal parties within Israel itself and Iran-backed terrorist orgs and more.

I'm not and that's not what I wrote. I just expressed the view that they have communicated to the VP their distress and its clear she's got it. I'm sure she's doing everything she personally can to expedite a ceasefire.

2024-08-10 21:08:50 UTC

I thought the Vice President responded to the protestors in Phoenix with respect. She acknowledged their concerns and made an emphatic statement for a ceasefire. They've now protested by heckling at two consecutive rallies + the VP had a one-on-one meeting with representatives of the protest prior to Wisconsin rally. For mine, they've made their point - in a democracy they can continue to heckle but they've made their point. #harriswalz @npub1u97…c75y
