Those who attended our lecture at St Bride yesterday can rest assured: the British are still busy viewing both the library (room 55) and the stylus (room 10a) of Ashurbanipal in the British Museum.

Today I had the pleasure of spending a few hours in the Central Lettering Record, before our talk at Central Saint Martins. In case you are, just like me, not familiar with that place, I’ll post here some pictures because more people should know about this.
The Central Lettering Record is a physical room within the building of Central Saint Martins school in London, and has a collection of around 10.000 printed photographs & 6.000 slides of lettering and type related matter.

New font: Kermit!
We don’t release new fonts that often, and there is way too much to tell about Kermit, so we’ll just link to our blog. We’re super happy that this font exists and is now available to kids of all ages:
https://www.underware.nl/blog/2025/04/new-font-kermit/
Kermit is a writable font, and includes time as a dimension in the font file. In case you want to experience these writable fonts yourself, visit the dedicated website: https://kermit-font.com (you can also read more about its background). Enjoy!

@nprofile…jlpt If I remember correctly, In the very early days (20+ years ago) it was 80-20. And to be clear, that was 80% for the foundry.
