Shaped like a friend
Saw this little one getting harassed by the magpies and crows today. It was putting up a good fight but it's so little.
I brought him inside and gave him some bedding, shelter, fruit/nuts, and water. Tomorrow I'll let him out in the wooded area next to the river.

30 minutes waiting at the bus stop because the last 3 buses were mislabeled on the departure board.
(Not using my real bus line here, but imagine the board says the 99 bus is coming, but what shows up is a 99A with a different route.)
Once again punished for using public transit.

Radium was also useful. Sometimes the usefulness of something is inseparable from its harm.
This is not an academic debate about how we might incorporate a theoretical technology and what tradeoffs we would accept. We are responding in real time as the harms are inflicted on us.
You do not, under any circumstances, have to hand it to 'em.

My backpack has a USB cable for charging devices. But I noticed what looked like a USB-C port? I plugged in a cable, and a Lightning adapter came out. Neat!
But it had a hole in the end? 🤔 And it's labeled "Lightning/Micro"?
And... oh god. It's a combination Lightning and Micro-USB adapter.
