Recently I was interviewed by @npub1p8u…6yqz about my work on @npub1yqv…sjmj, the project in general, and the larger #linuxaudio ecosystem. Enjoy!

New art day, care of https://bsky.app/profile/goblinpng.bsky.social !
I love #solarpunk but so much of the art is, I feel, unrealistically shiny and filled with improbable flying cars. To me the future is more dirty and DIY. Meet (an alt-universe) Laelia, hops farmer. Please excuse any farming inaccuracies, I know hops grow really really tall, but that made for a bad composition. Instead I wanted to focus on the functional clothing, beaten-up robot, and patched-up and modded windmill. Hope y'all enjoy.

Enshittification comes for open source:
Slack is kicking two large open source groups, Cloud Native Computing Foundation and Kubernetes, off of their donated enterprise tier, giving them one week notice to migrate multiple years of data to a new platform before it's all deleted: https://www.cncf.io/blog/2025/06/16/cncf-slack-workspace-changes-coming-on-friday-june-20/
Instead of learning from this experience and not trusting the good will of profit-motivated closed source companies, it looks like both projects will be moving to ... Discord. Because "people know it." Will we never learn?

The only thing funnier than Twitter rumors that Elon musk tried to get into the sf babyfur community years ago is the confirmations coming from private forums that it absolutely happened and his vibes were so rancid that they did not let him get anywhere near an event.
