I’ve restarted my internet, hardware/software, downloaded the most recent patch ups for the #Bitcoin & #LightningNetwork apps, I’m at a loss.
I’m worried my channels will start being force closed.

The current stage of #BitcoinAdoption is at a critical point. While places continuously accept it as a viable payment option, customers only make a single payment in #Bitcoin.

In order to become channel peers, you need your own copy of the Bitcoin blockchain, a Lightning network implementation, and a few more bits and pieces. The Phoenix wallet is a mobile Lightning wallet with a lite or pruned node. You’re basically using their main node virtually, I guess, but their website explains it much better.
Take a look at Umbrel OS; you can build your own or buy their pre-built device, the Umbrel Home. There are other options out there for devices, but I only have experience with Umbrel.

2026-06-02 21:18:17 UTC

Is anyone interested in becoming channel peers on the Lightning Network? I can open a channel with you, or you can initiate it to my node.
I’m looking to expand my node again. 😅

2026-06-02 19:41:49 UTC

It’ll be informal but informative!

I definitely have answered this before throughout my content… BUT never alone or in a separate video, which I can definitely work on.
