Is @nprofile…3xgl a honey pot? 🍯
A marketplace needs buyers and sellers trusting each other enough to transact, and pseudonymity with #Bitcoin is the trust mechanism that makes that pitch work.
But if the operator can see participant's real Google email, then the marketplace isn't a peer-to-peer exchange between strangers. It's a platform where one party knows exactly who everyone is, which is the Facebook model wearing a #Nostr costume.
The Bitcoin and pseudonymity language is what gets libertarian-leaning users in the door. The email graph is what makes the business valuable to whoever's actually paying for it.

Dealing with police: be courteous, calm, succinct, and always redirect to legal. You're not an expert, stop trying to represent yourself on the fly.
"I'm happy to cooperate via my attorney."
"I'm going to have my attorney handle this."
"My attorney will be happy to work with you."
"My attorney is a great guy you'll like him."
Smile. Be warm. Thank them for their service. Do not speak on legal matters or consent to searches. Redirect everything through the attorney.
Also: think and accept the process of being detained/arrested and decouple it from being charged and found guilty. Too many people lose their cool because they are imaging their life falling apart as cuffs go on or being in a holding cell for a day or two. Grow up.
Relax. The cops use a bunch of scare tactics and theatrics that mostly fall apart if you're kind, gentle, and redirect the entire process to your attorney.

This man is selling spiritual humanism, which is not the absence of religion, but the worship of self.

This false quote inverts the Gospel.
Salvation is not by "bringing forth an inner divine spark", but by Christ alone, received by faith (Eph. 2:8–9; Rom. 3:21–26).
What is "within" fallen man is sin, which condemns, not saves (Jer. 17:9; Mark 7:21–23).

The coordinated amnesia across the #Bitcoin space surrounding #Coinkite CTO's authoring of the #Coldcard exploit under an alias is the largest testament to broad intelligence involvement that we have.

The public record now supports the finding that #Coinkite defrauded their customers.
1. The CTO authored and GPG-signed the vulnerable libngu code under the deliberately constructed switck alias, operated it publicly on GitHub and X, engaged in self-conversations between the identities, and had the company thank the alias as an independent contributor.
2. The CEO privately described a critical flaw matching that exact remote-theft vulnerability at the time the affected firmware was distributed to customers.
3. The company continued selling and marketing Coldcards as highly secure while the issue remained undisclosed for five years, during which customers generated weak seeds and later lost substantial funds.
These facts establish material misrepresentation, knowledge of falsity, intent to induce reliance through the false appearance of independent secure development, and resulting damage.

According to Grok, this #Bitcoin diceware worksheet is a "Solid, correct BIP39 dice worksheet." 🎲🎲🎲🎲🎲
Matches official English BIP39 wordlist (2048 words, alphabetical = binary index order). Binary column and dice ranges are accurate.
Correct mapping of 6⁵ = 7776 outcomes → 2048 words. Small bias acknowledged (≈127.9 / 255.8 bits instead of 128/256). Negligible in practice.
Correct (7 entropy bits for 12-word final word; 3 for 24-word). Requires secure offline device to compute the exact final word.
Clear instructions, write-in slots, dense but complete tables. Practical for air-gapped generation.
No errors found. Ready for use.

I don't have any reason to believe given the data available that @nprofile…qy52 or @nprofile…zslp had anything to do with the #Coldcard heist.
This post, if anything, merely reveals that NVK might have had a Freudian slip when telling Odel that the 4.0.0 release was compromised in such a way that he could "steal all your Bitcoin" even without physical access to everyone's coldcards.
In other words, the suspicion that NVK knew about Peter's exploit increases.
Odell and Marty recommended Coldcard for years, in bad judgment, and have owned up to that.

2026-08-05 15:49:46 UTC

NVK indicated to Matt Odell that he wouldn't share the details of the bug in 4.0.0 because it would allow Odell to "steal all your Bitcoin", according to Odell.
Many claim that Odell was referring to a bug in 4.0.0 that was patched in 4.0.1 which accidentally left the debugging interface enabled (USB serial REPL), which would allow an attacker with physical access to customer coldcards to extract it's secrets.
But Odell wouldn't have physical access to customer coldcards, so NVK must have accidentally been referring to Peter Gray's exploit which also shipped in 4.0.0, which *would* allow anyone with knowledge of the exploit to "steal all your #Bitcoin".

Matt Odell and Marty Bent discuss #Coldcard's 4.0.0 firmware shortly after it's release.
This release is now known to have distributed the vulnerability Coinkite CTO authored under an alias that later lead to the theft of $100m+ of #Bitcoin in July/August 2026.
