An excellent explanation of why feminism is so modern and why it is so interwoven with the defence of the deep state for so many.

An off ignored historical fact. Another one being that the original clientele that established the trade to begin with were the Muslims, and that the Muslims were trading white slaves in the Mediterranean until THOMAS JEFFERSON waged the Barbary Pirate Wars against them. This is where the "shores of Tripoli" line in the Marine Corps song comes from... Modern day Libya.

Of course they do...
They worship the anti-hitler and "progress".
Modernity hasn't solved religion anymore than it has solved philosophy. They gave up solving the hard problems in both disciplines and got "real jobs", so now the cumulative cans kicked down the road are a massive trash mound blocking traffic for the rest of us.

There is a sizeable portion of maga, especially the main influencer types, entirely opposed to this.
I agree with the meme, but the idiot pushing for the war is more likely a "never trump"er that conveniently had a change of heart once he started playing ball with the cabal than the actual die-hards that voted trump last election.
Cult-worshippers like catturd notwithstanding.
And that fact is what makes the betrayal so much uglier.

Don't onboard through nostr social.
People feed newbies into twitter-style feeds, but most people on even traditional social media don't use twitter/X... they use instagram. Youtube is the traditional social media outlet with the most young users, with TikTok being a contender.
What they all have in common: short, video-form content, often centered around music and comedy.
The closest we have is divine, and their format doesn't work because 6 seconds isn't enough for anything.
Another platform worth mentioning: discord.
Everything from politics, "talk with the devs" servers (e.g.: the meshtastic discord), and more.
We have concord groups that can handle all those functions on Armada, grimoire, posterchan, and amethyst now. Even clients/businesses that don't want to host concord chats in their service can still make use of these things to market themselves (e.g.: nostrich hosting a concord group for people to ask the developers questions, post feedback, share their posts, ask for help, etc).
If anything, that stuff serves as a better advertisement for nostr social than the other way around. Because people will meet each other in those rooms and then want to follow their antics over time (e.g.: "I want to see the next crazy project @npub1600…889v is working on when he posts it")

Okay. I've found the time to actually come back and read this. I think the best example of our disagreement (and it really comes back to our difference in a definition of "government") is your paid security guard example and your line "I'd they ONLY protected rights... Then it wouldn't be government" (paraphrased for brevity).
Using your example, myself, a group of morally upstanding citizens, and my hired body guard are all living in a town I built to provide a place for live for the workers of my business. I have a rule that only my workers are allowed to live there, as I built and sell all the buildings. To keep the discussion on point, let's forget the moral considerations of the community project so we can focus on what comes next.
Other people that do not work for me and do not have the requisite skills are jealous of my town. They begin burglarizing it every night to get food and other goods that my town is wealthy enough to produce but they are not. My town members begin organizing a neighborhood watch to catch the burglars.
Every action that this unpaid citizens guard would perform is the same as the ideal and normie-understood function of a police force or border patrol: interdicting people who lack permission for entry, possibly arresting or fighting them if they resist.
Now my body guard gets involved. He is the best trained and equipped defender in the town: that's why I hired him. He has tools and experience for this specialized task of dealing with the specific type of threat the burglars pose. Is he not a cop or a solider? Is his function not the same in scope as that of any government agent for those equivalent roles?
In fact, historically, this hypothetical body guard's set up is identical to how mideval knights came to exist. The cost of maintaining horses and armor like what knights wore was so astronomical that very few could manage it without a whole town pooling their resources to afford it. And then was the challenge of maintaining a person who had the time and nutrition to train with it all. But any town that DIDN'T do this got raided by ones that DID.
I believe that such a founding is the origin point of all human governments and why every large enough and complex enough human society throught history and across the world independently formed governments of their own. Governments are AS universal and independently emergant as is written language within every society complex and advanced enough go have something worth taking for this exact reason.
Our disagreement seems to stem from this: I do not disqualify a government from the category "government" if it respects our rights. Governments can be more or less respectful of them (and I agree it should be more), but I think governments are naturally occurring things because human hierarchy (i.e., some people being better prepared for particular jobs and possessing unequal ability) and the need to fight force with force NATURALLY produces a government.
If my aforementioned neighborhood watch becomes a generational tradition or passes a size, wouldn't it become indistinguishable from a militia? Then, when they get too big to coordinate guard rotations collectively and elect a quartermaster to manage it, does that not make them like a military unit with the quartermaster as their commander?
This definition of government and the practical circumstances that generate governments is our disagreement.

@nprofile…z46u
Just a heads up. I ran a test to see if I could verify a new account with a service using your email service.
If the service sends a pin to verify, it works. But if they send a clickable link... Apparently not. The link (at least the one I tried) didn't work. I clicked and nothing happened.

You are misrepresenting the OPs point.
His point isn't that it doesn't matter WHAT rules you right down, even if they are objectively the best and correct rules. Because what matters is the social systems that enforce the rules.
Let's look at a portion of the constitution I know you would agree with: protection against searches and seizures. I KNOW you are against being spied on, having your stuff confiscated, etc. So let's write it down.
Just like how the value of the us dollar ceased to matter when it stopped being backed by gold, the value of 4A ceased to matter when it stopped being backed by actual adherence to the principle.
This issue does not change just because you disagree with some aspects of the US Founding political theory. Replacing it with ANY alternative system still has the same practical roadblock.

"But there is no systemic discrimination against men".
Acknowledging the problem is the first step to solving it.
If men cannot get jobs, but women won't "date down" in salary, then of course the birth rate will continue to collapse.
Calling men "incels" or "losers" for pointing this kind of stuff out... Or giving hollow "bootstraps" arguments to the men that have noticed the pattern does NOT solve the problem for either sex.

Welcome to nostr.
I felt the same way when I first found this protocol/ecosystem.
Years of grinding (still to no avail) on youtube... I log in here: instantly zapped for the same content I was already making.
And the people here are so helpful. I have learned more about IT and tech in the past year alone than I even knew there was to learn the year prior. And I've personally met some devs like @nprofile…wv7g @nprofile…h4yw @nprofile…8pn7 @nprofile…uca8 and others that have answered questions for me that I would have felt like a burden asking anyone before, let alone the dev of the app.
I felt like an idiotasking Elon how accounts work or something super basic like I should already know. But yet, in this ecosystem, there isn't that level of pretentiousness or untouchability that permeates larger systems.
Welcome to the nicest place I have found online.

This exchange is enlightening.
