Remember when, in mid-October 2023, multiple Israeli government institutions proposed the wholesale expulsion of 2.2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip to Egypt?
I'm trying to imagine what the global reaction would have been had a Palestinian Authority or Hamas linked- think tank published a long report calling for the wholesale depopulation of Israel? They would have called it another holocaust....
EXACTLY.

This story is absolutely insane.
Larry Montes, who carried out an attack at a New York City synagogue, "posted a photo of the map of Israel with text overlaid that says, “Keep Israel in your heart [in 2024]."
His Facebook page had been filled with posts about Israel and Judaism in the months leading up to the attack.
According to his aunt, he had even expressed a desire to convert to the Jewish faith.
How will the antisemitism industry spin this one?

In April 1948, Zionist forces carried out a massacre in Deir Yassin. It became the most infamous massacre of the Nakba.
The exact death toll was disputed for a long time.

In March 1948, the Zionist leadership in Palestine approved Plan Dalet, a blueprint for the conquest of Palestine.
Soon after, the Acting Chief of Staff, Yigael Yadin, summoned all the intelligence officers of the Hagana to prepare for the offensive. They met in a building that doubled as the headquarters of the Jewish public health service, Kupat Holim.
To emphasize the point, the Zionist militias in Palestine used the most important health care facility in Jewish Palestine as a gigantic human shield to prepare and plan for the ethnic cleansing of Arab Palestine.

In the lat 1980s, the Soviet Union began to consider allowing more Soviet Jews to leave the Soviet Union.
The vast majority of Soviet Jews (~80%) wanted to go to the United States.
So the Jewish State lobbied the US to BAN Soviet Jews from settling in the United States. Israel wanted those Jewish bodies to wage demographic, political & economic war against the Palestinians.
Maybe Israel should be re-named, the anti-Jewish State?

Over the past 3 years, I've spoken to dozens of '48 Palestinians & they all tell me the same thing:
They've overwhelmingly cut off their ties with Jewish Israelis, always for the same reason:
How can I be friends with someone that does not consider me a human being?
What a damning indictment of Jewish Israeli society.
I think this point highlights the underlying problem in Palestine.
No, it's not the occupation or the apartheid or the genocide, those are all symptoms of the underlying problem, which is, in a word, Zionism.

Ms. Melanie Genocide is correct to point out that the phrase “settler violence” is a complete misnomer.
“Settler” implies its individuals, rather than the Israeli army and government, responsible for the violence. Yet 100% of the terrorism is sponsored and supported by the government and army.
“Violence” is also a misnomer. It falsely implies sporadic incidents rather than organized, daily terrorist attacks sponsored by the IDF to murder, ethnically cleanse and forcibly displace millions of Palestinians for committing the crime of being born Palestinian in Palestine.

A comparison of Russia's war on Ukraine v. Israel's genocide of the Palestinians:
791 children killed in the Ukraine War (Feb 2022- May 2026).
21,000 children killed in the Gaza genocide (Oct 2023-May 2026). These are only confirmed deaths. The true number is dramatically higher.
This, even though Ukraine's population is 20X larger than Gaza's population.
In other words, if the two countries killed children at equal rates, Russia would have killed ~500,000 Ukrainian children.
Israel makes Russia look like the most moral army in the world.

The Zionist knee-jerk response to Ro Khanna’s detainment reveals a deeper truth about pro Israel / pro-genocide people.
They defaulted to saying Ro was in a military zone or even a war zone out of unconscious habit.
They did that because Ro went to Palestine. Where Palestinians live.
They see Palestinians not as people but as inherent threats. Born not as human beings but as security & demographic problems.

Today is day 984 of Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians.

Since at least the 1930s, Zionist & Israeli policy was no Arabs in border zones. Now the policy is not just no Arabs but no living creatures of any kind. quite literally scorched earth.

One of the most common lies spread about the 20th century Palestine is that it was actually the Jews who called themselves, "Palestinians" or "the Palestinians."
This is false.
Some 170 references to the term "the Palestinians" can be found in Arabic sources from 1898-1914 to refer to the Arabs of Palestine https://www.academia.edu/49925414/The_Origins_of_the_term_Palestinian_Filas%E1%B9%AD%C4%ABn%C4%AB_in_late_Ottoman_Palestine_1898_1914 and a half dozen references to "Palestinian" or "Palestinians" can be found in European languages from 1870-1897 to refer to the Arabs of Palestine https://www.academia.edu/63693212/How_the_West_Invented_the_Palestinians
So where does this Zionist lie come from?
Jews, like Christians and Muslims and other inanimate objects in Palestine (e.g. plants, journals) were modified with the adjective, "Palestinian," as in "Palestinian plants" or "Palestinian journals" or "Palestinian Jewry." This was often the case in English, although not Hebrew. In Hebrew, the Zionists rarely if ever used this used this verbiage.
In other words, Palestinian was a qualifier in the English language to refer to things in Palestine.
Then, in 1925, the British established the colonial state known as the Government of Palestine and introduced what they called “Palestinian citizenship” in 1925.
They explicitly stated “all the residents of Palestine, whether Jewish or not Jewish,” were Palestinian citizens.
Yet the term "The Palestinians" in English or even simply "Palestinians" was rarely, if ever, used in English to describe the Jews of Palestine. I challenge a Zionist apologist to find me even a single reference to "the Palestinians" in English that is obviously refering to the Zionist community of Palestine. Find me even a single reference.
The only reason Zionists love this weird distortion of history is to undermine a Palestinian identity. That's it. it's identity genocide. They want to genocide the Palestinian identity and think they are doing this by falsely claiming Jews were "the Palestinians."
a lie to genocide an identity. zionism in a nutshell.

Why was there a war in June 1967 in the Middle East? (800 word response):
Israeli leaders lamented the failure to conquer all of Palestine in 1948. “I never forgave the Israeli government under Ben-Gurion for not letting us finish the job in ‘48-49, both militarily and politically,” said then deputy prime minister Yigal Alon.
Or, as the military leader Moshe Dayan put it in 1949, the “frontier of Israel should be on Jordan [River]... present boundaries [are] ridiculous from all points of view.”
The feeling among many in the highest echelons of power was that “we had not completed the job in the War of Independence,” while the failure became known in Israeli folklore as the “weeping for generations.”
Few Israeli leaders were as illustrative as Abba Eban, who once said the map of Israel from 1948-1967 “reminds us of memories of Auschwitz.” Anyone who believed Israel ought to exist within its borders apparently also supported another Holocaust.
As the Israeli government's Year Book put it in 1951, “only now have we reached the beginning of independence in a part of our small country," adding "to maintain the status quo will not do. We have set up a dynamic state bent upon ... expansion.”
Needless to say, Israel was unsatisfied with its borders after the war, and so it never declared them, insisting the armistice agreements resulted in armistice lines, not borders.
That’s why Israel repeatedly crossed the lines, pushing Israeli control beyond the lines in Gaza, the West Bank and Syria, if at the margins.
Although many Israeli leaders believed the country could realize its national aims within its 1948 borders, many also supported their expansion should an opportunity present itself.
This aligned with a new military doctrine gradually adopted in the 1950s, namely, “Israel must not leave the initiative in enemy hands.” Israel had to choose the conditions and timing of the fighting.
In 1962, Levi Eshkol was elected Prime Minister of Israel, & in 1963, his deputy IDF chief of staff, Yitzhak Rabin, outlined to him Israel’s ideal boundaries: the Jordan River in the east, the Suez Canal in the south and west and the Litani River in the north.
Many high-ranking army officers wanted to avenge their losses in 1948 in Jerusalem, Latrun, Bab al-Wad and other areas of the West Bank. Plans were developed to occupy Jerusalem and the Latrun area, the entire West Bank, and a separate plan to conquer Qalqilya and destroy it. There was also a plan to carry out “a transfer” in Hebron to avenge the 1929 massacre. “The idea that the IDF might actively seek to expand Israel’s borders came up repeatedly during the mid-1960s,” as one scholar put it.
On 1 January 1964, Yitzhak Rabin, now the army’s Chief of Staff, explained his military doctrine. For Rabin, the military would bring peace closer by “readying itself for war [through] a greater momentum for operational activity.”
War was apparently the gateway to peace. Rabin also discussed the possibility of an Israeli preemptive strike and the need to prepare talking points to support one. He saw “‘no moral flaw in thinking that the State of Israel must be large.” It was apparently a moral flaw to think Israel should remain within its borders.
After the 1966 military coup in Syria, Israel repeatedly threatened to overthrow the new government in Damascus if it did not cease support for Palestinian militant groups.
The Soviets, worried their ally in Damascus would fall, sent a false report to Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser of an imminent Israeli threat to Syria in May 1967 to shore up support for the Syrian regime, leading Nasser to move troops into the Sinai.
The Egyptian army expelled UN forces from the Peninsula and closed the straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping. Israeli and US intelligence assessments agreed Israel would destroy the combined Arab armies with ease even if Egypt attacked first.
But to Israeli leaders, this was not a crisis, it was an opportunity. The feeling among Israel’s military leadership was that Israel had a narrow window to act. Israel could transform the balance of power in the region and renew its deterrence capacity if it acted first.
After the war, Israel’s apologists claimed the country faced a threat of annihilation and had to strike first. Yet, zero Israeli leaders who went to war in 1967 believed that. The existential threat was contrived after the fact to justify the war of choice. Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Rabin, Haim Bar-Lev, Ezer Weizman, Mordechai Bentov and Matityahu Peled all confessed as much in the years after the war.
And so, beginning on 5 June 1967, Israel launched a surprise attack on Egypt and then invaded and occupied the Egyptian-occupied Gaza Strip, the Egyptian Sinai Peninsula, the Jordanian occupied West Bank and the Syrian Golan Heights.

A short response:
Zionists usually define Zionism as something abstract. It’s a feeling of Jewish connection to Israel. Or its the idea that the Jewish people have a right to be safe in their homeland, or, sing it with me now, that Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish State!
Or, perhaps my favorite, as the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs put it above, “Zionism is the national liberation movement of the Jewish people, affirming their right to self-determination in their historic indigenous homeland, the Land of Israel.” It’s SEO and LLM optimized!
The problem with these definitions of Zionism is that Zionism was not an abstract idea but a “in real life” movement. It was a movement with leaders, institutions, policies and militias that set out to build what it called a Jewish state with a Jewish supermajority working at Jewish-only cooperatives living in Jewish-only colonies owned by Jewish-only land authorities operating Jewish-only schools maintained by Jewish-only militias in a country that was overwhelmingly Palestinian Arab. What could possibly go wrong?
The first thing that could and did go wrong was that not enough Jews moved to Palestine to outnumber the Palestinian Arabs. It was known as the “Arab problem,” i.e., the problem that there were too many Arabs in Palestine. By the mid-late 1930s, the Zionist movement settled on “transfer,” i.e., expulsion, as the optimal solution to this problem. And then, in 1948, that’s exactly what Israel did, expel about 750,000 Palestinians from their homes. Then they expelled another 30,000 over the next decade. And then another 300,000 in 1967, along with 130,000 Syrians, and then they pushed out a few hundred thousand more from 1968 to 1993, and a few hundred thousand more since.
Today, Israel’s forcible displacement policies are on steroids. Israel is crowding Palestinians into smaller and smaller areas of the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Israel, and pushing them out of Palestine altogether at an accelerating pace. Now, it’s expanding into Lebanon and Syria and doing the same there to Lebanese and Syrians.
Zionists insist on a definition of Zionism detached from the history of the Zionist movement. As we said, the Zionist movement at its core was about the immigration of Jews into Palestine and the displacement of Palestinians out of it, the construction of Jewish settlements in it and the destruction of Palestinian ones, and the armament of Jewish militias and disarmament of Palestinian ones. That was how an Arab country was transformed into a Jewish one, demographically, physically and kinetically.
Zionists can call immigration “indigenousness,” they can call colonization “the right to self-determination” and they can call a policy on forever, forcible displacement “liberation.” They can do that.
But the propaganda isn’t working anymore. That’s why Israel’s Foreign Ministry budget will receive a $150 million bonus this year, more than a 20X increase in bonus blood money. That’s also why the Israel lobby in the US is responsible for the most expensive primaries in US American history. And that’s why Israel is paying influencers $7,000 per post, since people aren’t buying the bullshit anymore.
And the reason is pretty simple. Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians of Gaza has ripped the mask off the underlying logic of Zionism. As Patrick Wolfe famously put it in his classic essay on the topic, settler-colonial movements, “without exception,” lead to a logic of the “elimination of the native.” And in the case of Palestine, the logic of the elimination of the native needed no theorizing by academics, not even a look at history. Instead, it has been on live-stream every day for the past 969 days, and counting.

"Since October 7th, only two Israeli soldiers have been held accountable for atrocities in Gaza.
One of them was for microwaving a frog, a living frog & microwaving it alive. The judge sentenced him to about 20 days in military prison. Only 20 days. And the judge wrote in the ruling that when a soldier puts a living frog in a microwave and burns it alive, that displays a cruelty or a tendency towards cruelty that basically constitutes risks towards other humans. The judge is a complete lunatic. Nut job.
There's another case of two soldiers that were sentenced, I think similarly, to 20 days in military prison because they cooked sausages on Shabbat in the military kitchen. So they violated the Shabbat Orthodox ruling against using fire on Shabbat. So they were sentenced to 20day in prison.
Nobody else was ever sentenced to a single day in prison over two and a half years of genocide that is live streamed that is posted by those soldiers."
