🚨 The Washington Post’s Press Freedom Desk put out a video on the growing threats to press freedom. It includes a photo of me. It somehow finds no room for Israel, or the 250 journalists it has killed in Gaza. Committee to Protect Journalists (npub19lk…6d6t)’s own data shows why this is inexcusable: 2025 was the deadliest year for journalists on record, and Israel was responsible for two-thirds of all journalist deaths worldwide. CPJ has said Israel has now killed more journalists than any government since it began collecting data in 1992. So why did the Post leave it out?
