Do you like democracy? Is good , isn't it? Well fuck you then, because democracy is in decline across every metric worldwide. In Europe we are speedrunning to end ours by attacking freedom of speech, freedom of press , and encryption.
So, if we truly appreciate democracy it would be a good time to wake the fuck up and fight for it... or tomorrow, it may not be possible.

Yeah, I read that but I don't know what a bumsicle is lol nor I can find its meaning.
When I search in Google, the AI sais:
The word "bumsicle" has a specific, informal, and potentially offensive meaning as a homeless person suffering from hypothermia, particularly from living outdoors in winter. Another, less verified meaning suggested online is a "bumsickle," referring to frozen buttocks. There is no widely accepted or verified meaning for the word, and it may be a portmanteau or slang term.
And that's good we have that at least, because I can't find a proper definition

2025-08-25 08:10:25 UTC

I'm a western young man and I've never experienced such a socialization process, but I recognize personal experiences rarely represent reality.
However, the statement that an average western male will experience widespread and daily contempt, hate , harassment and threat is , fortunately , not supported by evidence.
That scenario assumes a world where most individuals have succumbed to bitterness and hatefulness for half the human population, which you won't find in the west, nor anywhere else. (Aside from the internet and political spaces, which I don't recommend frecuent)
Most people is normal. If people around you regularly make you feel worthless and threaten you, remember that that's not normal and you can definitely find good people, because they are the majority. You don't have to conform.

This reminded me of one of my favorite statements ever, you can extrapolate it beyond architecture, so double prize🏆:
"I like complexity and contradiction in architecture. I do not like the incoherence or arbitrariness of incompetent architecture nor the precious intricacies of picturesqueness or expressionism. Instead, I speak of a complex and contra dictory architecture based on the richness and ambiguity of modern experience, including that experience which is inherent in art.
Everywhere, except in architecture, complexity and contradiction have been acknowledged, from Godel’s proof of ultimate inconsistency in mathematics to T. S. Eliot’s analysis of “difficult” poetry and Joseph Albers’ definition of the paradoxical quality of painting.
But architecture is necessarily complex and contradictory in its very inclusion of the traditional Vitruvian elements of commodity, firmness, and delight. And today the wants of program, structure, mechanical equipment, and expression, even in single buildings in simple contexts, are diverse and conflicting in ways previously unimaginable.
The increasing dimension and scale of architecture in urban and regional planning add to the difficulties. I welcome the problems and exploit the uncertainties. By embracing contradiction as well as complexity, I aim for vitality as well as validity.
Architects can no longer afford to be intimidated by the puritanically moral language of orthodox Modern architecture. I like elements which are hybrid rather than “pure,” compromising rather than “clean,” distorted rather than “straightforward,” ambiguous rather than “articulated,” perverse as well as impersonal, boring as well as “interesting,” conventional rather than “designed,” accommodating rather than excluding, redundant rather than simple, vestigial as well as innovating, inconsistent and equivocal rather than direct and clear. I am for messy vitality over obvious unity.
I include the non sequitur and proclaim the duality.
I am for richness of meaning rather than clarity of meaning; for the implicit function as well as the explicit function. I prefer “both-and” to “either-or,” black and white, and sometimes gray, to black or white. A valid architecture evokes many levels of meaning and combinations of focus: its space and its elements become readable and workable in several ways at once.
But an architecture of complexity and contradiction has a special obligation toward the whole: its truth must be in its totality or its implications of totality. It must embody the difficult unity of inclusion rather than the easy unity of exclusion. More is not less"

Season 2 was definitely not plot driven either, prove of it it's the fact that there is a hundred thousand inconsistencies, and no topic to explore at all. The first season and all what happened on it could be summarized with "technology and progress without ethics will turn destructive ". It touched mamy subtopics that make parallels with our world. Meanwhile, season 2 is about...war? forgiveness? (If it's forgiveness it's extremely bad executed and ignores simple psychological principles)
We cannot know because there is nothing pulling all the nonesense together.
