Bill Clinton never got in trouble for all that Chinese money he took. Pretty sure Obama also got foreign campaign cash. Congress-critters can literally fuck Chinese spies and have Chinese spies as drivers and other staff, and they never get in any trouble. And of course everyone takes AIPAC money.

That caliber bullet not passing through the neck is really strange. As was that one Jewish guy who just happened to be in the crowd and immediately drew attention to himself, like it was an attempt to help the shooter get away.
I've always been willing to entertain all sorts of conspiracy theories. I collect them, sort of the way another guy might collect stamps or butterflies. That means I'm perfectly willing to listen when someone says Israelis/US intelligence had something to do with Kirk's killing. But Christ on a pogo stick, is Owens insufferably stupid, not to mention untrustworthy. Almost everything about her and her past is sketchy and dumb.
Like Fuentes, she has her uses, especially in confusing and enraging certain groups. Also like Fuentes, her utility beyond that is very limited. The Molotov cocktail can be useful, but you don't hug it close to your chest and make it your best friend.

The sad thing is he did some good work some years ago. He dug into and laid out the history of current day gay-race neo-Maoism, the philosophical foundations of it, the Frankfurt School, the terrorism of the left in the 60's and 70's when it became obvious the Soviet Union was a failure and Capitalism had provided the average worker with a good standard of living. How that failed and they then went on the long march through the institutions, etc.
Then he turned into this Israel cock sucking LOLcow. It's fun to mock him when he shows up in the feed, but it's also kind of sad. A promising beginning, wasted in an orgy of ego stroking and wall kissing.

The most maddening thing about that LOLcow isn't his bullshit obsession with muh heckin Nazis or the Jewish bootlicking. Lots of people do that schtick.
The two things that drives me up the wall with him is, one, his pretentiousness despite never taken even one poli-sci class. Two, despite going on and on and on, despite constantly attacking anything that might be effective in fighting the communists he says he hates, he offers absolutely no alternative solutions. Zero, nada. He makes vague pleas to (I guess) 90's liberalism, but never admits that's what got us here, never says exactly what should be done to stop the hyper-leftist loons. Only calls them bad people, and calls you just as bad if you suggest anything that might actually fight back.
All complaint, no solution, all ego, no substance. I have this fantasy where we actually get a fascist like take over, everything is fixed, and Lindsay has to live in that world. He has to constantly look around at how clean and orderly and safe and productive everything is, then he goes home and records another 2 hour screed about how everything is actually awful while showing off his super cool kung fu moves. Every time he leaves his home, people openly laugh at him, and children throw rotten fruit at him.

I had an uncle that followed racing horses around, working in the stables doing other such work. We were sitting on the couch once at my grandmother's place, watching TV. The hardest thing for the normie to accept, the final hurdle they have to overcome to get to where we are, is that Jews are in fact very racist, and they owe a great deal of their success to their racism. Ruthless, persistent, unabashed in group preference. If whites had a tenth of the in group preference Jews have, nearly all our problems would vanish.

Allow me to introduce you to Mao, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, the Japanese Imperial army, the Aztecs, the Mongol Horde, literally every land war in Asia, the many pre-industrial Muslims Jihads, the Muslim slave trade in black Africans, the utterly appalling way Muslims treated their slaves, the West African slave trade where black Africans enslaved and ritually sacrificed countless other black Africans, the innumerable African tribal conflicts stretching back to the dawn of time, Central American head hunters, New Guinea cannibals, ... etc., etc., etc.
And then in more modern times we can look at federal crime statistics broken down by ethnicity. Or we can examine the rape, child molestation, and murder rate on Indian reservations, with special attention paid to the shockingly low rate at which such crimes are solved and punished. And let's not even touch upon the sex crime rate in the Muslim world, least we be accused of being naughty racists.
Honestly, anyone that claims whites/Europeans are the greatest killers and villains in all of history is either criminally ignorant or they're lying through their teeth because they hate white people and will do everything to attack them. Please come back after you've read some pre-1965 text books. You or whoever taught you should be pelted with rotten fruit in the town square for either unforgivable ignorance or vile slander.

Something that a lot of people don't know is once in office, Congressman or Senator has to raise money not just to get re-elected, but he also needs to constantly feed money to the party leadership. If he doesn't feed that beast, he won't get put on any important committees, which is where a lot of power resides. Some hair on fire activist the party elders don't approve of can get elected, but if he doesn't play ball, if he doesn't keep throwing money at the party, he will be sidelined.
No important committee seat for him. He can still cast his vote on bills that make it to the floor, but that's it. He gets no hand in helping to shape that bill, question witnesses in committee hearings, help pick which witnesses are called, nothing. Like the nerdy kid that shows up at the dance, but then all the cool kids ignore him so he spends the night standing alone in the corner.
Now add in the fact that a lot of bills are basically written by lobbyists with the help of compliant staffers. So things like AIPAC and it's network of networks isn't just showering politicians with money, they're likely writing bills, putting them before politicians who need a constant flow of money like a junkie needs his next fix. He knows where a good chunk of that money comes from, knows that everyone else is in the same boat, and knows that if he doesn't play ball he'll be made powerless and likely be out of a job next election cycle.
Put it all together, and what you have is a pay to play scam where other countries and international corporations decide the fate of the nation, while voters are mired in the illusion they have any say in how their own government runs. There's a reason every intelligent, learned person throughout history thought any form of democracy was a terrible form of government.

This is probably correct, or at least I feel it is. Problem is the line is harder to draw, and therefore harder to explain to people. Laissez-faire capitalism is minimal government interference in business (do what you want). Communism is no more private property, government runs all the businesses (the state takes care of everything).
Those are easy to explain to someone. There doesn't seem to be a bright and simple line to what we're imagining. You and I can look at a business practice and say "this is wrong, this harms the larger society", mostly because it's a gut reaction. But it isn't always easy to slot it into a neat, simple category. The explanation takes too long. The story has to be simple when selling something to people. We need a simpler way of explaining it, catchy sales pitch. A way to point at something and say, "This is an example of how it should (or shouldn't) be done under this system because X."

When I lived in that "reduced income" apartment complex, there were gangs of black kids that would run around all day and into the night, weather allowing. The little shits would destroy things, seemingly out of boredom. For instance, they destroyed many of the bushes and small trees planted around the complex ... just because. Broke them branch by branch, over the summer. Trash was tossed about on the grounds, even though dumpsters were never more than a short walk away. On hot summer nights they would go around and flip all the breakers for the various buildings. Eventually I bought my own padlock to keep them from shutting off my building's power.
Those glass panels would have eventually been destroyed even if they weren't blocking the way into the trains, even if they were some decretive thing and out of the way. It's more than bulldozing their way through to get something free. There seems to be an innate disregard for or even hostility towards property, structure, and beauty.

Luckily (or unfortunately) someone did an environmental assessment and concluded it would permanently kill all marine life in the Gulf of Mexico, they they shelved the plan.

I suspect that on top of the general competency crisis that's affecting everything, there's not really anyone else left on the Democrat bench. Ever since Bill Clinton was in office, Democrat leadership has seemed more interesting in making sure no one challenged them within their own party than developing up and coming talent. You have these ancient ghouls clinging to power until they are vegetables that have to be wheeled into cast votes. The only up and comers are jokes like AOC; at best rabble rousers, but not anyone that's going to break through to the White House, certainly not truly legislatively significant.
In other words, Harris is the biggest name they have outside of maybe Newsom, and he's pretty much crapped the bed with the current firestorm. Who the fuck else are they going to run in '28? No overwhelming magic, no over the top battle scenes with crazy monsters, no DEI bullshit or extraneous relationship nonsense, just a lot of sneaky/stabby/theft in a large pre-industrial Japanese setting. Give us the ninja version of Ghosts of Tsushima
Why is that so hard?

There is always a ruling class. Problems arise when that ruling class becomes inept, corrupt, disdainful of the people and culture they rule, or otherwise unfit to do their job. The trick is to find a system that is optimal at creating a competent ruling class and that sustains itself for the longest period of time.

Wasn't there some guy decades back that crossed the Atlantic in a reed boat replica? Yeah, Thor Heyerdal. Sailed from Africa to Barbados in a papyrus reed boat, then sailed across the Pacific in a balsa wood raft.

Upside: hasn't suffered Dresden style fire bombing, lasted a lot longer.
Downside: tofu construction, ghost cities, and usually has to copy other people's tech advances.
