MY call isn't about gooners. Shit is well known in not a fan, but I'll just block em.
My call was for you to do something so actually illegal shit is spammed into my home and getting it killed, my only active mod having their life taken over to try and put out the fires.
It's one simple fucking thing, and it's not even YOUR instance, it's choccy, and now Maia since choccy has gone dark. If you refuse to run it then give Maia the power to do so.

2026-08-25 13:09:20 UTC

How the fuck did "cp spam is a problem cause random jackass can join" into this?
I just wanted the only person with the ability to do it, to fucking choose the registration.
I miss choccy. Choccy gave a shit about the community and put in the effort. Without any drama, choccy kinda saved my life by making this place and it's going to shit cause I've person won't do one thing that would take infinitely less energy than arguing for an hour.

civil Rights was a focused community. Revolution is a focused community. LGBT was a focused community.
Focus is essential to accomplish shit. Long term though, you're right, just becomes a new kinda bigotry. Like a spear, you pick up the focus, accomplish the task, and put it the fuck down.
There's no community in a crowd. They're all strangers. They are people in a place. Community is connection. Community is common values and shit like that.

2026-07-19 14:27:34 UTC

Exercises completed for the day.
Last time I set out to get back in shape I fucking LIED to myself about doing it in the evening. Was always to tired. Now I do it when I have the energy. In the morning. So the rest of my day can go like normal or be awful and I've already done it. It's too fucking late. I can't skip it.

2026-07-19 14:19:55 UTC

- reply

bluntly: wrong.
A community is a gathering of mostly aligned interest and values.
A bunch of people isn't a community. There's no connection or consistency, it's just a mob (or crowd depending on how rowdy).
Community building REQUIRES shared values and purpose.
Even if the purpose is just about having a good time, it's still a shared purpose.

the division is simply because there's fuck all unifying. We can't agree on basic shit like what's "abuse". Or even what a fucking "child" is. The only thing unifying our "community" is that were marginalized and demonized. By that metric from the outside Nazis could belong (and seem to try semi regularly). If we wanted a real community that's more unified we'd have to fucking agree on the basics which already seems to be a shit Show.

🫵 You too can become a marginalized group, so stop being an asshole.

In this book there's a magic language and magic ink and magic books. If you put em all together you can create worlds and travel to them. Literally. Cool shit.
The people who created it all are extinct though (more or less) and a guy figured their language out (more or less) and does shit. He eventually gets his son to teach him how to do it too.
Ghen is the father, and atrus is the son. Atrus learns this shit, cobbles together some crap and when he goes to the world ghen tells him (nicely) it's shit cause there's fuck all, it's just a nice beach and tells him he needs to complicate shit. It's a WORLD.
So atrus checks out some of ghens shit and it's biblical disasters left and right, cultures being wiped out etc etc.
So he checks Dad's work and finds dad can't write (code) he's just verbatim copy pasting shit from other books (that are actually good) which makes his shit unstable cause it doesn't blend together.
That's modern coding. People see shit someone else does, copies it into their coffee but there's tokens and shit that are dependant and it doesn't fucking work but they dunno why cause they didn't write it and don't understand it really, so they slap more shit on it until it kinda holds together with some good ol' tape and faith
