Everyone in this current administration needs to be imprisoned for what they did to Venezuela.
It wasn't about drugs, it was criminal greed.

So why is there no news stations talking about Capital One closing over 300 Trump accounts for money laundering?

Republicans giving Trump IRS immunity after Capital One closed his bank accounts for money laundering should be a bigger story.

If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, ballouts, legal protections, and trade barriers to survive?
And when ordinary people ask for help, why is it suddenly called socialism?

This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

Trump has now conducted 28 boat strikes, killing over 100 people.
Remember: no judge or jury has found these boats were trafficking drugs.
We're simply taking Trump's word for it.
He’s unilaterally acting as judge, jury, and executioner.
This is a danger to us all.

For the record...
"He's made $5 billion in six months, literally 10,000 times his salary.
We spent 75 times his salary just taking him back-and-forth to Mar-a-Lago, where he also had off the books meetings.
Openly threatening and even executing retaliation on individuals, businesses and entities.
Threats to weaponize the government against political opponents.
This is the most corrupt administration we have probably ever had in our nation. And maga does not seem to have a red line with this executive, I would have thought that when he deported US military and military family members that would've been it but no..... the systematic attacks on the constitution apparently is not a red line for them either.
They have caused people to have concerns about freedom of the press, separation of powers, illegal search and seizure, due process and habeas corpus_ the fact that they don't need a warrant to come into your house anymore and that they are offering $1000 of body bounty should be shocking.
I mean, sending armed masked unnamed authority figures into the street to just snatch them and put them in a black hole somewhere where nobody can know anything is the most Communist thing I never thought I would see in our country."

🚨BREAKING: The gangs of L.A. brokered a truce and just did more for injustice against innocent immigrants than the entire U.S. Senate has done since they discovered C-SPAN doesn’t have commercials.
Yeah, you heard me. Street crews… yes, those same folks your racist uncle thinks are the final boss in a Fox News fever dream… are now escorting immigrants to court like chivalrous vigilantes in Nike tech fleece. Because when the state decides the Constitution is optional and ICE turns into a roaming death squad with a mask and a clipboard, sometimes the only due process you get is five dudes in matching hoodies telling the feds, “Nah, bro. Not today.”
And guess what? It works. Because ICE agents will happily snatch a grandma from a church picnic if she makes a good deportation stat… but put them near anyone who doesn’t say “yes, sir” with a trembling voice and suddenly they remember they have “other priorities.” These federalized cosplay commandos without badges (but definitely daddy issues) don’t go after the dangerous… they go after the docile. Why? Because they’re not enforcers of law… they’re mall cops with militarized toys and the moral compass of a broken Etch A Sketch.
So of course ICE targets “assimilated immigrants with families.” Because God forbid we deport a white-collar CEO laundering cartel money in Miami… nah, better to rip a kid from his dad in front of the school, then call it “border security.” These aren’t agents… they’re cowards in windbreakers playing hide-and-seek with the American Dream.
And meanwhile, the gangs… yes, gangs… have done what Congress won’t: form a coalition to protect vulnerable people from a government that thinks “compassion” is a foreign threat. These guys just unionized against fascism faster than the Democratic Party could agree on brunch.
So let’s be real. If you’re more outraged that gang members are helping immigrants than you are that the government is hunting them like they’re Pokémon with poor English, you’re not patriotic… you’re complicit. You’re the spiritual lovechild of George Wallace and a Ring doorbell, screaming “law and order” while your empathy dies in 4K.
ICE isn’t about safety. It’s about optics. It’s about keeping middle America scared shitless so they don’t realize who’s actually robbing them blind: it’s not José from Oaxaca, it’s Jeff from JPMorgan.
So props to the homies rolling deep to immigration court. Because while Congress filibusters itself into irrelevance and ICE roleplays as apartheid cosplay, someone’s actually showing up for justice.
You call it gang violence. I call it community defense.
And if that scares you? That’s not fear. That’s your conscience trying to escape the prison you built out of denial. Let it out. Or stay silent… and history will remember you the same way it remembers the cowards: not at all.
If your biggest concern is how uncomfortable this rant made you, congrats… you’re officially less useful than a wet napkin at a house fire. But hey, keep scrolling. I’m sure there’s a cat video somewhere that’ll let you pretend the world isn’t burning.
Wake the hell up.

Just when you think you couldn’t love Tommy Lee anymore he delivers this bit of solid Gold.
"An Open Letter to the president"
From the Drummer of Mötley Crüe, Tommy Lee
Dear Fucking Lunatic,
At your recent press conference - more a word salad that had a stroke and fell down stairs, you were CLEARLY so out of your depth you needed scuba gear. Within minutes of going off air your minions were backpedaling faster than Cirque De Soliel acrobats... In India a week ago, i couldn’t get past the bit about your being the most popular visitor in the history of fucking india — a country of a BILLION human souls that’s only 3000 years old, give or take.!!! Trust me - Gandhi pulled CROWDS.. You pulled a cricket stadium and half WALKED out...
Do you know how fucking insane you sound, you off-brand butt plug? That's like the geopolitical equivalent of “that stripper really likes me” — only 10,000 times crazier and less self aware.
You are fucking exhausting. Every day is a natural experiment in determining how long 300 million people can resist coring out their own assholes with an ice auger. Every time I hear a snippet of your Queens-tinged banshee larynx farts, I want to scream!
We are fucking tired. As bad as we all thought your presidency would be when Putin got you elected, it’s been inestimably worse.
You called a hostile, nuclear-armed head of state “short and fat.” How the fuck does that help?
You accused a woman — a former friend, no less — of showing up at your resort bleeding from the face and begging to get in. You, you, YOU — the guy who looks like a Christmas haggis inexplicably brought to life by Frosty’s magic hat — yes, you of all people said that.
You attempted — with evident fucking glee — to get 24 million people thrown off their health insurance.
You gave billions away to corporations and the already wealthy while simultaneously telling struggling poor people that you were doing exactly the opposite.
You endorsed a pedophile, praised brutal dictators, and defended LITERAL FUCKING NAZIS!
Ninety-nine percent of everything you say is either false, crazy, incoherent, just plain cruel, or a rancid paella of all four.
Oh, by the way, Puerto Rico is still FUBAR. You got yourself and your family billions in tax breaks for Christmas. What do they get? More paper towels?
Enough, enough, enough, enough! For the love of God and all that is holy, good, and pure, would you please, finally and forever, shut your feculent KFC-hole until you have something valuable — or even marginally civil — to say?
You are a fried dick sandwich with a side of schlongs. If chlamydia and gonorrhea had a son, you’d appoint him HHS secretary. You are a disgraceful, pustulant hot stew full of casuistry, godawful ideas, unintelligible non sequiturs, and malignant rage.
You are the perfect circus orangutan diaper from Plato’s World of Forms.
So fuck you Mr. President. And fuck you forever.
Oh, and Vance, you oleaginous house ferret. Fuck you, too. You'll be as useful as a chocolate teapot against a medical crisis you Bible thumping cock socket loser!!!

Donald Trump has a nuclear meltdown after Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation report is released — revealing that the evidence was "sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction" if the trial had gone to court.
This is a bombshell of historic proportions...
"The department’s view that the Constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a president is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the government’s proof or the merits of the prosecution, which the office stands fully behind," Smith wrote.
"Indeed, but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the presidency, the office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial," he went on.
The 137-page report was delivered by the Justice Department to Congress shortly after midnight on Tuesday and the contents are utterly damning.
The document tears into Trump for attempting to undermine and destroy our democracy by reversing the 2020 election and for repeatedly encouraging "violence against his perceived opponents" in the weeks leading up to January 6th.
Smith wrote that Trump was clearly to blame for the Capitol insurrection and pointed to the fact that numerous convicted rioters testified that they believed they were carrying out Trump's wishes.
The report was the result of an exhaustive investigation and included interviews with over 250 people as well as grand jury testimony from over 55 witnesses.
Smith strongly suggested prosecution in the report, citing Trump's "unprecedented criminal effort to overturn the legitimate results of the election in order to retain power."
Trump lashed out at Smith over the report in trademark fashion with a frantic Truth Social post—
"Deranged Jack Smith was unable to successfully prosecute the Political Opponent of his 'boss,' Crooked Joe Biden, so he ends up writing yet another 'Report' based on information that the Unselect Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs ILLEGALLY DESTROYED AND DELETED, because it showed how totally innocent I was, and how completely guilty Nancy Pelosi, and others, were," Trump wrote, lobbing some of his usual baseless lies.
"Jack is a lamebrain prosecutor who was unable to get his case tried before the Election, which I won in a landslide. THE VOTERS HAVE SPOKEN!!!" he added.
The truth is that Trump knows that he's guilty and that history will judge him accordingly. He may be in the White House for a few years, but he'll be a felon forever.

What we witnessed last night in Trump’s interview with Terry Moran of ABC was not an exercise in transparency. It was a display of power, evasion, and contempt.
He brushed off the crushing impact of his 145% tariffs with a smirk, saying Americans signed up for it. That is indifference wrapped in arrogance.
He defended the illegal deportation of a man the Supreme Court ordered returned. He questioned the man’s worth, ignored the Court’s ruling, and showed the country exactly how little he cares for the law when it stands in his way.
When asked about Ukraine, Trump refused to answer. Instead, he boasted about Putin’s respect. A dictator’s approval is not a foreign policy plan. It is a warning.
His tone was hostile. He called the questions stupid. He whined that the reporter was not being nice. This was not a president offering answers. This was a man obsessed with control and allergic to accountability.
This is not normal. This is not acceptable. This is authoritarian at best, and fascism at worst.
He is not guiding a nation. He is staging a performance. One built on grievance, fear, and the constant need to dominate.
If we keep mistaking this for leadership, we will not just lose our way. We will lose our democracy.
Because what we saw last night was not strength. It was the machinery of decline grinding forward, one reckless answer at a time. And if we do not confront it now, we will wake up in a country we no longer recognize—and it will be too late to turn back.
Shout out to Terry Moran for conducting this interview (available to watch on Hulu). He was respectful, yet firm in calling out the lies. He didn’t cower. He didn’t bow.
Cowardice, as we’ve seen, is highly contagious. But Terry Moran showed us that so, too, is courage.
Be like Terry, not the fake Republican Congress which refuses to exercise its constitutional duties of reining in a rogue president.

Live games on the radio, black and white TV, color TV, then HD 3D TV.
We went to the video store and now watching Netflix.
We've known the first computers, punch cards, disks and now we have gigabytes and megabytes on our smartphones.
We wore shorts all through our childhood, then trousers, ep pants or mini-skirts, Oxfords, Clarks, Palestinian scarves, jumpsuits, and blue jeans.
We avoided childhood paralysis, meningitis, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, swine flu and now COVID-19.
We've done roller skating, roller skating, tricycle, bicycle, moped, gasoline or diesel and now we drive hybrids or electric.
We played with the little ones
horses and checkers, ostrich and marbles, 1000 threshold and monopoly, now there's candy crush on our smartphones
And we read... much
And our schoolmates religion was not a subject...
We used to drink tap water and lemonade in glass bottles, and the vegetables on our plate were always fresh, today we get meals delivered
Yes, we have been through a lot but what a beautiful life we have had!
They might describe us as “ex-annuals”; people who were born in this 50s world, who had an analog childhood and digital adulthood.
We should add the Biological Revolution that we have witnessed. In 1960, biology was very descriptive. We have witnessed the event of Molecular Biology: the molecules of Life have been discovered: DNA, RNA etc. When you see everything that has come from it: gene therapy, gene fingerprints, and others the progress is considerable.
We kind of have "seen it all"!
Our generation has literally lived and witnessed more than any other in every dimension of life.
This is our generation that has literally adapted to "CHANGE".
A big congratulations to all the members of a very special generation, which will be UNIQUE.. ""

The Social Security Administration has already cut 7,000 jobs.
Now its website is crashing.
Phone lines are overwhelmed. Beneficiaries can't get service.
What is DOGE recommending now?
More layoffs.
Let it be known that Trump is effectively cutting Social Security.

The IRS unit that audits ultrawealthy earners has been gutted.
This will starve the government of revenue by making it easier for the rich to evade taxes — which the top 1% already do to the tune of at least $163 billion a year.
See what DOGE is really about?

(This excerpt is particularly relevant:
"White Rose’s third leaflet read, “Why do you allow these men who are in power to rob you step by step, openly and in secret, of one domain of your rights after another, until one day nothing, nothing at all will be left but a mechanized state system presided over by criminals and drunks?
Is your spirit already so crushed by abuse that you forget it is your right—or rather, your moral duty—to eliminate this system?” ")
****
"82 years ago today, on February 22, 1943, a Nazi executioner forced 21-year-old Munich University student Sophie Scholl into a guillotine in Stadelheim Prison and beheaded her, before also beheading her brother, Hans Scholl, and a classmate, Christoph Probst within 10 minutes.
Their crime? Distributing leaflets critical of Hitler and the Nazis.
To stand by silently, they claimed, was to be complicit in “the most horrible of crimes – crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure.” To do nothing was to truckle to Hitler; and “every word that comes out of Hitler’s mouth is a lie.”
White Rose’s third leaflet read, “Why do you allow these men who are in power to rob you step by step, openly and in secret, of one domain of your rights after another, until one day nothing, nothing at all will be left but a mechanized state system presided over by criminals and drunks? Is your spirit already so crushed by abuse that you forget it is your right—or rather, your moral duty—to eliminate this system?”
The fourth pamphlet made a promise: “We will not be silent. We are your bad consciences. The White Rose will not leave you in peace.”
Sophie was caught tossing extra leaflets into her college atrium by a school maintenance man who called himself a “proud German nationalist." He called the Gestapo who arrested Sophie, Hans, and Christoph. Four days later, they convened a show trial after which they each were summarily beheaded.
Sophie's final words were “How can we expect righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone willing to give himself up individually to a righteous cause? Such a fine, sunny day, and I have to go, but what does my death matter, if through us, thousands of people are awakened and stirred to action?”
After the war, Sophie and White Rose were lauded as heroes. Streets across Europe were named for her and White Rose. She has been honored in art, city squares, and cinema. And In 2003, she became the fifth woman honored with a bust in Walhalla Temple, the sacred shrine where Germany honors its heroes.
Indeed, resistance is never futile, and antifascism is in fact the hallmark of the Pantheon."

I don't think any US journalist has written as tough (and spot-on) a portrayal of the threat facing us as this Canadian, Andrew Coyne of the Toronto Globe and Mail. If you read to the end, you will be rewarded with the most flattering photograph yet of the convicted-felon-in-chief:
“Nothing mattered, in the end. Not the probable dementia, the unfathomable ignorance, the emotional incontinence; not, certainly, the shambling, hate-filled campaign, or the ludicrously unworkable anti-policies.
The candidate out on bail in four jurisdictions, the convicted fraud artist, the adjudicated rapist and serial sexual predator, the habitual bankrupt, the stooge of Vladimir Putin, the man who tried to overturn the last election and all of his creepy retinue of crooks, ideologues and lunatics: Americans took a long look at all this and said, yes please.
There is no sense in understating the depth of the disaster. This is a crisis like no other in our lifetimes. The government of the United States has been delivered into the hands of a gangster, whose sole purpose in running, besides staying out of jail, is to seek revenge on his enemies. The damage Donald Trump and his nihilist cronies can do – to America, but also to its democratic allies, and to the peace and security of the world – is incalculable. We are living in the time of Nero.
The first six months will be a time of maximum peril. NATO must from this moment be considered effectively obsolete, without the American security guarantee that has always been its bedrock. We may see new incursions by Russia into Europe – the poor Ukrainians are probably done for, but now it is the Baltics and the Poles who must worry – before the Europeans have time to organize an alternative. China may also accelerate its Taiwanese ambitions.
At home, Mr. Trump will be moving swiftly to consolidate his power. Some of this will be institutional – the replacement of tens of thousands of career civil servants with Trumpian loyalists. But some of it will be … atmospheric.
At some point someone – a company whose chief executive has displeased him, a media critic who has gotten under his skin – will find themselves the subject of unwanted attention from the Trump administration. It might not be so crude as a police arrest. It might just be a little regulatory matter, a tax audit, something like that. They will seek the protection of the courts, and find it is not there.
The judges are also Trump loyalists, perhaps, or too scared to confront him. Or they might issue a ruling, and find it has no effect – that the administration has called the basic bluff of liberal democracy: the idea that, in the crunch, people in power agree to be bound by the law, and by its instruments the courts, the same as everyone else. Then everyone will take their cue. Executives will line up to court him. Media organizations, the large ones anyway, will find reasons to be cheerful.
Of course, in reality things will start to fall apart fairly quickly. The huge across-the-board tariffs he imposes will tank the world economy. The massive deficits, fueled by his ill-judged tax policies – he won’t replace the income tax, as he promised, but will fill it with holes – and monetized, at his direction, by the Federal Reserve, will ignite a new round of inflation.
Most of all, the insane project of deporting 12 million undocumented immigrants – finding them, rounding them up and detaining them in hundreds of internment camps around the country, probably for years, before doing so – will consume his administration. But by then it will be too late.
We should not count upon the majority of Americans coming to their senses in any event. They were not able to see Mr. Trump for what he was before: why should that change? Would they not, rather, be further coarsened by the experience of seeing their neighbours dragged off by the police, or the military, further steeled to the necessity of doing “tough things” to “restore order?”
Some won’t, of course. But they will find in time that the democratic levers they might once have pulled to demand change are no longer attached to anything. There are still elections, but the rules have been altered: there are certain obstacles, certain disadvantages if you are not with the party of power. It will seem easier at first to try to change things from within. Then it will be easier not to change things.
All of this will wash over Canada in various ways – some predictable, like the flood of refugees seeking escape from the camps; some less so, like the coarsening of our own politics, the debasement of morals and norms by politicians who have discovered there is no political price to be paid for it. And who will have the backing of their patron in Washington.
All my life I have been an admirer of the United States and its people. But I am frightened of it now, and I am even more frightened of them.”

A 10-year-old U.S. citizen recovering from brain cancer was deported with her undocumented parents from Texas to Mexico while en route to a medical check-up. Despite prior clearance on similar trips, border agents rejected legal documentation this time. The family, fearing separation and foster care, chose to stay together. Now in Mexico, they lack access to essential healthcare, especially for their daughter’s cancer recovery and their son’s serious heart condition. The case highlights the harsh impact of U.S. immigration enforcement on mixed-status families.

Anybody like pasta? Well this is different.
You see, people used to think that black holes would take you to different parts of space.
Realistically, if you enter a black hole, you’d get spaghettified.
That’s right, you’d turn into a spaghetti noodle. I’m not even lying.
Fact check me.
Spaghettification is actually a real Astrophysical term and is my favorite one so far.
Long story short; if you try to enter a black hole, then you better get your meatballs ready, cause you spaghetti.

Long read
America’s economic decline is largely self-inflicted, the result of decades of short-sighted policies that prioritized corporate profits over national stability.
Here’s how the U.S. did this to itself and, by proxy, an explanation for Trump's behaviour:
1. Corporate Offshoring & Deindustrialization
The relentless pursuit of cheap labor led corporations to shut down domestic manufacturing and ship jobs overseas, gutting entire industries. Rust Belt cities were left to decay while corporate executives and shareholders raked in profits. The long-term cost? A hollowed-out middle class and a workforce with fewer pathways to stability.
2. Union-Busting & Worker Exploitation
Instead of strengthening labor rights to protect American workers, the government allowed corporations to crush unions, stagnate wages, and strip benefits. The result? Increased income inequality and a workforce struggling with job insecurity, forcing millions to rely on debt just to survive.
3. Deregulation & Financialization
The U.S. government, driven by neoliberal ideology, deregulated industries, allowing Wall Street to dominate the economy. Instead of investing in production, companies focused on stock buybacks and speculative bubbles. The economy shifted from making things to shuffling money around, benefitting only the wealthy.
4. Education & Skills Erosion
Public education was defunded while college tuition skyrocketed, saddling students with debt and leaving many without the skills needed for the jobs of the future. Meanwhile, trade schools and apprenticeships were undervalued, leaving a shortage of skilled labor.
5. Healthcare as a Profit Machine
America made healthcare a for-profit industry rather than a public good, tying it to employment and making businesses hesitant to hire full-time workers due to skyrocketing insurance costs. The U.S. spends more per capita on healthcare than any other country but has worse health outcomes, undermining workforce productivity.
6. War & Military Overreach
Trillions were spent on endless wars, while domestic infrastructure crumbled. Instead of investing in public transit, healthcare, or education, the U.S. funnelled money into military contractors and foreign conflicts that destabilized regions but enriched the arms industry.
7. Mass Consumerism & Debt Dependence
The American economy pivoted from production to consumption, encouraging people to spend beyond their means. Low wages and high costs forced households into massive debt, propping up the illusion of prosperity while real wealth concentrated at the top.
8. Political Corruption & Corporate Influence
Lobbyists and special interest groups took over policymaking, ensuring that regulations favoured big business over workers. Instead of fixing economic imbalances, politicians from both parties served corporate donors, creating a government that works for billionaires, not citizens.
9. Immigration Scapegoating Instead of Economic Reform
Rather than addressing the root causes of economic hardship, political leaders turned working-class frustration toward immigrants, creating a distraction while the real culprits—corporate greed, financial manipulation, and policy failures—remained untouched.
10. Climate Inaction & Resource Exploitation
Ignoring climate change and doubling down on fossil fuel dependence has left the U.S. vulnerable to environmental disasters and economic instability. Instead of investing in sustainable energy and green jobs, politicians propped up dying industries, delaying the inevitable transition.
Now They Want a Scapegoat
Instead of reckoning with these failures, the U.S. is looking for someone to blame—whether it’s China, Canada, or immigrants. But the reality is clear: America didn’t get here because of outsiders. It got here because of decades of self-sabotage fuelled by corporate greed, government corruption, and systemic neglect.
Please 'like' and 'share' to spread the word. It's time people were informed about how Americans got into their self-inflicted crisis.
