fox update: just about all the electrical is done except for a few receptacles. the shorter workbench is working out nicely as a spot to put the miter saw, at least for dealing with shorter materials. i'll still need the cart for long stuff.
apparently the yellow foam isn't as sticky as the orange foam so some of the existing insulation fell off the wall when i was cutting out slices for the studs.
fox update: the lower 32" high workbench is in place, now i just need to hook up the outlets and mount the vise and cut out some spare hardwood for its jaws. the top got 1-5/8 unistrut for maximum strength, but the shelf below will get 11/16 unistrut to support it cause it'll just hold the miter saw and table saw and a couple other things.
