Pfft!
With this covid brain injury I struggle to sort information in my head.
I was pondering how I've adapted to this by using a bunch of notebooks, journals, scratchpads n such to sort information physically to help retrain my brain.
And I just blurted out in eureka!...
MY MIND PALACE IS ON THE OUTSIDE NOW. 🤯

This year the @nprofile…60xv team visited Siglufjörður as part of our yearly visit to Iceland. Parts of the team live in Iceland, but other members of the team live in Norway and around Europe.
It is great to spend quality time together. I feel lucky to work with such a dedicated team, who have common, shared values.
We have a lot of cool stuff coming up, which I look forward to sharing with you!

I love the morning light in autumn--like spot-and footlights warming to the stage and all her players.

We live about 40 miles east-ish from where I work. Driving in this morning we followed the setting full moon, floating like a soap bubble in the pale blue autumn air, until it drifted down behind the red- and gold-leaved trees.
It's a beautiful world we live in.

“Your margin is my opportunity” is a famous Jeff Bezos quote.
OpenAI is now winning Anthropic customers with steep discounts. Most notably, Replit shifted the majority of its AI spending to OpenAI after getting over 30% off a $100M+ annual contract.
Competing on price will threaten Anthropic’s profitability narrative.

I’m eternally amused that Americans voted to sabotage this country and permanently damage its reputation by making Trump president, twice, in reaction to a Black president.
As bad as things are now, they’re only going to get worse.

This is a matter of subjective vs objective morality. Between two different religions including closely related ones you will find divergence in beliefs that affect their moral framework. Even among secular ethicists there are divergent moral frameworks.
Between the religions we can see that the morals are subject to their belief in that religion, but to the believers within the religion, the morality is black and white, commanded by God. When there are differences in opinion on these matters, this is how new sects form.
Consider the following and how closely it relates to your moral framework:

ARISS Voice Repeater Status: We’ve received reports that the crossband voice repeater did not return to service following Monday’s contact with Norcross, GA.
The ARISS operations team is working with the ISS payloads team to investigate.
Crew availability may be limited this week due to the scheduled ISS EVA. Combined with a planned radio outage on Wed., Friday’s radio power-up may be the first opportunity for the crew to troubleshoot the issue.
We’ll share updates as they become available.

Mi accorgo adesso (ore 13:33) di essermi scordata di pranzare ._.
Today, another Isuzu coupé, the fastback version of the Gemini. Like yesterday’s 117, there is a European connection - this car is a GM T Car based on the mid-1970s Opel Kadett C. Isuzu Geminis were also sold in the US as Buick-Opels. Photo from my brother, taken in the Toyota Automobile Museum. (1/3)

Post a snippet involving spirits, such as a character talking to or about them.
“No. Although spirits can roam. At times attach.”
“Roam?” I cocked my head. “Like a ghost?”
She squinted. “Those things in movies? No. We were taught a spirit can linger, tied to its place. They have a radius they cannot breach. It’s thought some of what we call nature spirits are extremely old mages. Dead or faded. I’ve not heard of them traveling without assistance.”

Do you collect (unaltered) natural materials for projects?
Closest I've come to this is rocks. I've collected them most of my life. Small ones for shelves and plant pots. Larger ones for garden borders.
For people with an inherited retinal disease, like me, genetic testing can be very important in coming up with a concrete diagnosis, which in turn potentially opens up access to trials and new treatments, would could possibly save their sight (unfortunately I was not one of the lucky ones; I had a genetic test done, but they could not isolate my gene. Which does happen, at which point counselling becomes really important, but that also costs money and most medical aids won't cover it).
But genetic testing is EXPENSIVE, and so many can't afford it. This Giving Tuesday, you can donate, so that somebody can maybe get an answer: https://retinasa.org.za/shop/giving-tuesday-donate-any-amount/?utm_source=MastodonAfrica

Obrona cywilizacji, demokracji i liberalizmu przed inwazją barbarzyńców (czyli przed idealistami, normikami i dziećmi ;) )
