in hindsight his throwing such a fit about me mentioning i could have him arrested for trespassing was a critical juncture. he was telling me it was cruel to me to try to scare him with such threats and i was like get out of my house. he emphasized the brutality of the justice system and how I'd never subject someone to that. i was like get out of my house. i think it dawned on him i really would do it. if he thought I would never actually call the cops, god knows what would have happened
