Am I wrong for assuming that it was never about anything other than the money? I've always figured it was simply a matter of their being a Chinese based company, and the U.S. wanting to limit financial support to any Chinese company as much as possible. I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong, actually; it's just that no official explanation has ever made more sense to me personally than "follow the money."
