Baby-Boomer Republicans are crumpling up the federal government and disposing of it after single-use like everything else they've ever touched. They do not think to leave anything for the future - not rights, water, housing, voting, social security. All of which they enjoyed freely.
A few of them were my idols and role models. I've looked up to them as examples and goals, but now that they are very near death and still acting this way, the poison pill in their legacy is hitting me hard.
