I always knew the approximate power consumption of my PC setup (PC itself, displays, speakers, other hardware), but today I measured the actual consumption and how much it costs over a year (considering the PC runs 12-16 hours a day with suspend to RAM not working) and it made me re-evaluate a lot.
Gonna put Suspend to Disk back on the menu, kicking in after half an hour, but I disable screens after 5 minutes already since they need half the idle power of the entire setup.
