Some months ago a bunch of leftist developers with a relatively big audience came up with a nonsense idea like that, I don't know if this is talking about the same thing, because the news mentions nothing or no one.

The leaders said they were going to "use Nostr" (God knows what they meant by that), but then their leftist audience were very against it because Nostr is apparently a tool of the unitedstatian fascist empire or something.

I joined their group and offered help in anything they needed, but their project was "on hold" at the time, they never reached out.
