GM a joy in life is waking up to a bunch of notifs from happy Aussies 🔥🫂💜
I'm going to the Hot Springs, so I asked The Glass🪩 app I made for a fun soak tracker app which is a 30078 event signed by Amber. It appeared in about 2 minutes. https://npub1ak68qfcjj7k95c0jwleu69x72nr8adwv6g80pkwl9xlps6zmkqzqrxy8fx.blossom.band/80e0a5f2a781dc5a6d9668f9b4974e700d7069033ae5a65211618d2c552e9968.mp4

That breakdown in Winter is.... cosmic 😳
Symphonic. The violins fit very nicely 😎
I distinctly remember falling asleep to this album years ago

The data itself is good. They are facing a lawsuit over their sleep data claims in the US, but it's also the US. I can say that it lines up for me on nights where I don't get good deep sleep on the Oura that I struggle irl. I know even if I get low hours of sleep, but my deep and REM are decent, the lack of sleep isn't a struggle. So ofc it's not perfect data, but I think it's good.
Who says I don't have one of those too? Mine's an early warning indicator for those around me tho 😡
Yeah, I think they're good. It helps me keep an eye on things. Recently it told me that my resting heart rate is 4bpm lower than in the past. It helps me know if I'm going in the right direction.
But I'm grandfathered in and don't pay the subscription. Even if I had to, I probably would, but paying for the ring and the subscription up front feels like a lot. There might be cheaper rings these days that do similar things.
Don't make me get started on what an amazing support for Nostr you are and how good of a friend you are to me 🤭🫂❤️
I have been needing a new Oura ring for a while. I've been a customer since 2020, and they replaced my Gen 3 ring twice now for free. I contacted them and said my battery life is horrible. They offered €100 off a new Gen 4 or 5. I accepted. They emailed back and said because I'm a longtime supporter, they are upping it to €200 off. So I'm getting a new Gen 4 gold for €100 🥳
@nprofile…mjzq turns out only dawn is going pro tho 🤭
My friend made a cool thing, and if you dear reader wanna stay my friend, you should like it 😡😡😡
#nevent1q…gpm3
Yes, Dawn and I are thinking of going pro
TBH there are occasional times that I'm able to sleep to Rings of Saturn. Like a tornado throwing a bunch of rocks. but because its so fast and low, the sleepy mind registers it as a soothing grumble
Did I say that?
I think maybe what I was trying to say is that it needed to be more used so small and big issues were uncovered and fixed according to real world usage, but I don't know.
I wouldn't recommend that you just keep developing it alone every day for 3 months without it being used concretely in the real world.
I don't know, could have been any other character, it's a convention.
@npub1jlr…ynqn The slash commands spec https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/CD.md doesn't allow for slash commands in reply to kind:9 messages in groups, does it?
Because the slash command must begin on index 0 of content, but kind:9 replies begin with a reference to the message being replied to.
What is the solution?
It reminds me of my grandpa. I had a Timex but it ticked so loudly. The battery died yesterday, and I knew it was time. I hope I like it. It feels weirdly blingy, but we'll see.

You'd be welcome on OpenSource Reddit then
Impressive skills she's building 👏🏼
My manager at work told me he really likes the way I work and would I be interested in more hours. Yeah mfer I'm smart af yw😎🤭
Ordered a new Casio. My first new cheap watch in eight years, and I couldn't be more excited 🥳
The @nprofile…ynwm bear bot officially goes into hibearnation this week💤 ty to everyone again, it was fun 🙏🏼
GM I get all warm and cozy inside when I wake up to spam email sent to an isolated email, addressed to a random initial, knowing that if the hackers got anything, it's a physical address of a Private Mailbox rented by a business that has a registered agent and a VoIP 🥰☕
I wanna know how Cloudflare API keys could lead to an authentic Mailgun email. DNS? Or was the real Mailgun account used too? 🧐
I really want my $5K though 🥺😂 and same, I'm glad I live in an unaffected region
Sharing goals and working toward them together is so important for cognitive development in youths🙃 (granted must have cognition to develop it tho 🤭)
@npub1der…xzpc I am not against UX work. Just to clarify, because maybe other people are misunderstanding me based on few random sarcastic comments:
I dislike what some people commonly refer to as "UX", which is just pure status quo bias and survivorship bias.
They think that because X or TikTok or whatever works in one way and are successful currently that is the "best UX" today and that has to be copied, because that's what people want and that's the definition of easy. They probably do it unconsciously.
In fact what happens is that these platforms are successful for many other reasons and they happen to have some type of UX (survivorship bias). They have often very bad UX in many aspects, but everybody is already so used to these they don't count those as negative anymore (status quo bias), which is expected, but the professional UX designer should be able to see through this. Also because their own designers suffer from the same biases they end up copying each other and they become all similar.
There is also the issue of regulatory constraints and technological constraints they have, which Nostr apps don't, so that should be a good thing and a sign that we have to experiment with other UXes that could be much better.
Of course, Nostr also has other constraints, which are basically that the user has to be aware of keys and relays in some way or another, but because people are so deep into their status quo bias they refuse to see this as an interesting challenge and an opportunity for general enlightement, they prefer to try to hide it from themselves and from others, which benefits no one as such things are necessary and will necessarily have to reappear eventually if anything will work at all, so it's much better to face them as soon as possible.
