They want to convince government that regulation is needed for “safety” but really it’s to create barriers for new competitors entering the market. Maybe also setting themselves and other dominant AI companies as “too big/important to fail”

I think maybe what I was trying to say is that it needed to be more used so small and big issues were uncovered and fixed according to real world usage, but I don't know.
I wouldn't recommend that you just keep developing it alone every day for 3 months without it being used concretely in the real world.

Because the slash command must begin on index 0 of content, but kind:9 replies begin with a reference to the message being replied to.

There's an old saying in product: "Never be the first to do anything"
The rationale here is that the first to do something front-loads all the R&D, market testing and price testing which then becomes everyone else's starting point. The only time this doesn't hold true is orgs with lots of runway and no pressure to generate revenue; they don't have to put all their cards on the table.
It's more than validation, it's a blessing.

另外, 电子游戏在内的内容消费入口的厂商是否也要为无障碍做适配? 为什么不是去推进老龄人群的配镜便利化, 先把各种标准屈光的老花镜放到现在全国到处乱铺的连锁药店里, 一步步改善国内已经流行了几十年的 "四眼狗" 这种观念? 都说老年人是老小孩, 可能老小孩也更怕周围人对自己戴着眼睛投来异样的目光, 等 "四眼狗" 这句话从大人教育过来的小孩子嘴里说出来的时候不知道身为老人的心里是什么感受呢.

@npub1der…xzpc I am not against UX work. Just to clarify, because maybe other people are misunderstanding me based on few random sarcastic comments:
I dislike what some people commonly refer to as "UX", which is just pure status quo bias and survivorship bias.
They think that because X or TikTok or whatever works in one way and are successful currently that is the "best UX" today and that has to be copied, because that's what people want and that's the definition of easy. They probably do it unconsciously.
In fact what happens is that these platforms are successful for many other reasons and they happen to have some type of UX (survivorship bias). They have often very bad UX in many aspects, but everybody is already so used to these they don't count those as negative anymore (status quo bias), which is expected, but the professional UX designer should be able to see through this. Also because their own designers suffer from the same biases they end up copying each other and they become all similar.
There is also the issue of regulatory constraints and technological constraints they have, which Nostr apps don't, so that should be a good thing and a sign that we have to experiment with other UXes that could be much better.
Of course, Nostr also has other constraints, which are basically that the user has to be aware of keys and relays in some way or another, but because people are so deep into their status quo bias they refuse to see this as an interesting challenge and an opportunity for general enlightement, they prefer to try to hide it from themselves and from others, which benefits no one as such things are necessary and will necessarily have to reappear eventually if anything will work at all, so it's much better to face them as soon as possible.
