I once had copper wire stolen out of the walls of a whole 2-story house. The denial letters were surreal. They claimed the damage was "neither inside nor outside the home, but within the walls." [Allstate] I never saw a penny.
Another insurer once tried to cancel the policy AFTER a tornado claim and the court took 5 years to rule against them.
Obviously I hate insurers with a white-hot passion.
