All communist don't want a vanguardist dictatorship like the Soviet Union. The dictatorship of the proletariat is clearly (to anyone who's read Marx) class supremacy of the proletarian class, who is the vast majority of capitalist society. The DotP is majority supremacy, not autocratic rule. And yes, communist support the suppression of the exploiting bourgeois class just as any oppressed people want the suppression of their oppressors.
