And the surviving engineers finally understood the ancient commandment:

And so, in the year 2149, the Cybernetic Council proposed Joe Armstrong for sainthood.
Saint Joe of the BEAM.
Patron saint of distributed systems, exhausted production engineers, and programmers who had finally escaped object-oriented purgatory.
His miracles were independently reproducible.
His scripture was executable.
His resurrection strategy was documented in OTP.
And beyond the last cathedral, Shiva smiled.
For the destruction of illusion had finally revealed the architecture beneath.
THE REALM IS LOCKED.
THE SUPERVISION TREE IS ALIVE.
THE VERIFIED SURVIVE.
