Me assombra, me assusta. No pior sentido possível. O fato de que Platão, 500 anos antes de Cristo, já apontava os problemas, as contradições, já tecia críticas à república. E, assim, creio eu que a Grécia era superior ao Brasil de hoje em diversos aspectos. Tanto é que entrou para a história. Só pelo fato de ter Platão, o Brasil teve, no máximo, Olavo de Carvalho. Não foi por conta de uma boa cultura, de um excelente sistema educacional e muito menos por possuir qualquer incentivo, seja qual for, para descobrir, explorar o potencial e desenvolver essas mentes. Olavo foi o único que realmente furou a bolha, por mérito próprio. A sociedade brasileira, inclusive, é um desincentivo a esse tipo de mente. Ser um cara como Olavo no Brasil é suicídio intelectual. É pedir para ficar maluco.
Mas, voltando para o cerne da questão que quero trazer: 500 anos antes de Cristo, o cara estava lá falando que, a grosso modo, não presta, não dá certo, e cá estamos nós, num mundo pós-Revolução Francesa, endeusando esse mesmo sistema.
Nós, como sociedade, estamos tratando a democracia como real liberdade. Só porque teclamos dois dígitos em uma urna.
E o problema — um dos mais importantes, na minha opinião — também é o de que a democracia não faz chegar lá os melhores. Na verdade, faz chegar os mais populares e, em sua maioria, os que refletem a mentalidade do povo que os escolheu.
Então, não é que Lula é corrupto. Aliás, o Flávio também. Enfim, nenhum desses dois é corrupto de fato. A sociedade é corrupta por os colocar lá, por os defender a ferro e fogo, deixando de lado, aqui, todos os meus problemas com a legitimidade desse sistema e tudo.
Como confiar em um governante, sendo que a sociedade que o coloca lá é composta, em sua maioria, por ignorantes?
Detalhe: eu utilizei a palavra ignorantes, não pessoas burras. Existe gente inteligente no Brasil. Não dá para presumir que os 200 milhões de pessoas que residem aqui, ou os 100 milhões que votaram, são todos burros. Meu ceticismo não me permite concluir isso.
O que dá para concluir é que as pessoas que me circundam são corruptas, estão corrompidas. Não veem, não buscam, não tratam com importância a consistência entre meios e fins e a coerência ideológica.
Poderia estar aqui falando da ilegitimidade do Estado em si, independentemente do sistema. Mas eu vivo em um sistema de república, de democracia. Então, eu estou criticando mesmo. De maneira superficial, claro. Não porque a crítica em si seja superficial, mas porque eu estou criticando a superfície.
O que me importa, de fato, ou deixa de importar, o que estou disposto a combater ou a evitar não é o Estado, independentemente do sistema, que não passa de uma roupagem que ele utiliza para se apresentar.
No entanto, permitam-me só tecer mais uma dessas críticas superficiais. O problema da democracia brasileira não é sequer a suposta e controversa fraude. Realmente acredito que houve, embora não ponha minha mão no fogo, pois não espero muito do povo brasileiro.
Na verdade, o problema real, quase tangível, reside na moralidade e, principalmente, na religião. O problema é moral e, sobretudo, religioso.
Um país cristão como o Brasil eleger, pela quarta vez, aquele sujeito...
