It started as a miner protocol
Now it's also a server for lightweight bitcoin wallets that don't want to use the bitcoin protocol or download blocks
It's also a wallet with a shitty UI.

I think in the 15 years I’ve been coining I’ve only used it once and deleted it lol… well until I probably dled it on umbrel carp node and never used it…
A lot of other wallets use electrum servers (such as Sparrow), but likely they check the validity of the tx that the electrum server sends back.

I looked into supporting iOS, since my kids have Apple tablets I can test with. But I don't even publish on Google's store, yet, just on Zapstore.
I prefer building web apps, to be honest. The whole store thing is very annoying, and I need to run a server, anyway.

Mom says he gets to go home today. He seems to be doing much better today. Now begins the arduous task of keeping him still for the next 2 weeks for it to heal in place. He has dementia so that will add to her struggle with this.

Bush #2 ran the same game plan on gay marriage. Poll the public and it was like 10th priority across the country after things like the poor performance in the wars. But, the first 9 were things where people were pissed at him. So they flooded the zone with anti gay marriage conversation because it was the most popular issue they were more popular on. So here we are again. Given a list people pick around a dozen things more important to them than trans people, all things the Republicans are losing on like the wars, inflation, and broken promises. All radio silence from the right while they pile on the coverage on the single issue where their position is slightly more popular.
