I lost actual friends during the 2017 Block Size War and BCH fork. A few years later, one of them tried to pitch me on “eCash,” telling me it was the “better“ version of bitcoin and that I was just a corporate sell-out if I didn’t listen to him. I was like…okay man, have a nice life.
Uptober’s almost over…

There are four or five entirely different things with the name “ecash” now…what an absolute shitshow.

Then I have one less hour to work each day.
Yeah, but it’s not like I have to actually *be* somewhere…

True story. Someone paid 2008 sats for this and it increased in value by a whopping $1.22 in the past 1395 days!

Did everyone remember to claim their free eCash today? 🤣

Holy shit, BTCapsule…what happened to you, man? Hope you find your way back someday.
My kid just came home with a disturbing amount of candy.

I bet the worst thing is still all the poisonous spiders.
You know I only have room for one NFT in my collection.

I guess, if you really want everyone’s brain to malfunction.
What if we all collectively said “fuck you” to Daylight Saving Time and stopped changing our clocks twice a year and just let the chips fall where they may.
I no longer change the wall clocks in my home. The ones that require me to stand on a chair or a ladder or whatever. They just say what they are set to year round, and my family has learned to deal.
Hmmmm, dont know....maybe you should add a bit, just to be sure
No, I’m asking if you changed your mind about minting the 21,000 NFTs you announced last week.
Does this mean you’re not releasing NFTs, or…
You seem to have lost your pfp again.

Ingredients for those following at home:
- Winter savory
- Oregano
- Peppermint
- Hyssop
- St. John's wort
- English walnut
Yeah, the wort interacts with contraception, so there may be something in it
Visited some nature park for kids. On its last open day, and it's cold, so not many visitors, only us actually. One of the stations was about herbal tea recipes and they had both one for better lactation AND a love potion, listing which ingredients are libido boosting. Well, that's one way to teach children early I guess.
You can smoke your fresh cut weed in 10-12 hours if you have a filament dryer.

Not to mention in a world full of cybersecurity threats including AI-enhanced hacking and social engineering, a digital bearer instrument with irrevocable settlement faces an enormous challenge in global adoption for both individuals and nation states. I mentioned yesterday that someone I met a while back contacted me for advice on selling all of his bitcoin for gold, and he was somewhat astonished when I said I could never imagine doing that.
This is essentially the conclusion I came to a long time ago. The anarchocapitalist utopia so many early bitcoiners espoused is basically unachievable in an adversarial world.
Dismantling a modern state creates a vacuum of power that will be instantly filled by surrounding powers, and the experiment in non-governance immediately dissolves.
The same game theory applies to the fiat arms race. Unilaterally disarming your credit printer immediately allows a money-printing adversary to outspend and overwhelm you.
It is naive to imagine a scenario where every global actor suddenly decides to cooperate to advance a largely unpopular socioeconomic philosophy that has never succeeded at scale.

It's useful to have some opt-in diagnostics in the app, that helps a bunch with troubleshooting group convergence. The website has some minimal stats. All this infrastructure is self hosted and we don't log IPs.
We already have it, it's not officially releases, but your clanker can build it for you.
Dont use the same nsec as in the app tho, for now.
