Electrum is a tragically overloaded term.
It started as a miner protocol
Now it's also a server for lightweight bitcoin wallets that don't want to use the bitcoin protocol or download blocks
It's also a wallet with a shitty UI.
A lot of other wallets use electrum servers (such as Sparrow), but likely they check the validity of the tx that the electrum server sends back.
I'm done just taking it. I'm going to start doing something about it, and build my own way out
I think in the 15 years I’ve been coining I’ve only used it once and deleted it lol… well until I probably dled it on umbrel carp node and never used it…
