Worth keeping in mind: if the Bitcoin maximalists end up being right about big print debasement, the most likely scenario, even in that world, is that your life just stays the same while everyone else's fiat life becomes extremely unaffordable. You buy the same 10 eggs today as you do after the big print, but everyone else can only buy one egg.
it's less "you get richer!" and more "you don't get poorer" or at best "you get relatively slightly richer".
And that's not accounting for the massive inflation in capital gains that you still would be paying, with taxes levied on **nominal gains**. A 10X Bitcoin due to debasement is a real gain of zero, But a 9X capital gains tax.
The reality is that BTC has been so coopted by normative market forces that it will be worth nothing the minute it no longer serves the fiat cause.

I think the fact that agression took place does not negate that most interactions have been friendly. I think it is true that there have been always violence while most exchange hal at all time been friendly.
Just imagine when you meet 10 people tomorrow. It would be almost impossible to handle your life, if you decide to be agressive to more than half of those.
living beings tend to reduce energy expenditure. And agression is mostly not the most energy efficient way to succeed in life.
I think it is as simple. Count every interaction of a day. And then count how many of those you were making in a friendly manner and how many in a agressive manner.
I would bet that even most soldiers in active battle have still far more friendly interactions than interactions, where they act as active agressors.
When a sldier gets up, he probably was sletping close to many friendly troops. Probably he gets some breakfast from a friendly chef. He probably gets driven in a bus with a friendly driver to the front.
Then there he might has an exchange of fire before getting back to the base camp where he is surrounded by friendly soldiers.
Crypto is a get rich quick scheme by the creators designed to market or advertise something akin or similar to a counterfeit type currency mixed with a ponzi scheme, to bag holders. See "fart coin" or "trump coin" or any other grifts. Will BTC hit 300k or 500k? How should I know. As far as I'm concerned it shouldn't have exceeded $200 if people had any brains. I have no doubt if it hit $500k at some point in 2030, it'll still sit at $0 one day. But it's done a lot of good for launderers and other criminals, so I guess it has a place to that end.
