I don’t know where any of you live, but If you’re around. Come on down. Downtown Kalamazoo. Tomorrow night. Gonna be a good time. And if it’s not you get your money back. Also, pretty sure it’s free. So, we’ll see you there.

New release - The Poet Barfly
The drunk at the bar next to you is determined to ruin your silent reflection. Their blabbering slowly evolves from gibberish to coherent, and from coherent to brilliant. They have tapped into exactly what you needed to hear somehow. An annoyance turned therapy.

It’s baby steps for me. I do the same thing when getting into a cold body of water. One inch at a time, torturing myself with every step, envious of those that run and dive in off the dock.

"I wouldn't do a cover song, unless it was the greatest and best song of all time." -Me
I hope you enjoy this cover of the Bright Eyes song, Bowl of Oranges. It was very fun to record and collaborate with my friend Austin.

I’ve been using Alby for a while and it works great! I think zaps are changing from replacing the “like” button to more of a “tip” for people actually putting out content. You wouldn’t tip someone for having a conversation with you, but you would tip a musician that entertained you. I think that’s what’s happening.

Thanks so much!! I’m very content to just sit in my studio and make things, pushing them out into the world and hoping they are enjoyed. It’s too painful to track them after they leave my bubble so I just focus on the next thing, but seeing your post has recharged my batteries like crazy so thank you for that.

It’s my birthday week, my gift to you, a four song album that I’ve been laboring over for months. It’s a concept album chronicling the journey of a good kids road out of an unstable home and into the foster care system. Even if it doesn’t relate directly I think you can find bits and pieces of yourself in there. Wanted to release it early for all you nostriches.

I have a song that’s ready to put out but I’m looking for some help with the album art.
It’s called You Should Waste It, and it’s about the joys of wasting time when you’re young. Please comment any picture you may have that you think would work for the cover and I’ll consider using it. Thanks in advance Nostriches.

Decided to start releasing things in this universe first, then Spotify and the rest whenever I get around to it. I get more feedback from here than I ever have anywhere else, so thank you all for that. Here’s something you can only hear here.
It’s a song about one of the weirdest days of my life, a day that has impacted all the days since.
