first-ever away goal against the Red Bulls

2026-08-20 01:39:51 UTC

FT: That's Nashville SC's first-ever win away against the Red Bulls. It's the first time they've ever scored a goal away against the Red Bulls. Not a pretty performance, but the type of win Supporters' Shield winners are able to grind out. With Miami dropping points, this could be huge.

happy matchday to all who celebrate 🥵

Playing through winter weather was a primary concern for the MLS calendar switch, particularly for northern teams.
But heat index will hit 110º for tomorrow's Nashville–Miami match. This is bad for fans and objectively much more dangerous for players than the cold. Fewer games in this is good.

Nine of the 10 African teams at this World Cup have advanced to the Round of 32. Incredibly impressive stuff from CAF!

I know I have some inherent bias here, but I can't believe I convinced myself yet again that Türkiye would be good this time...

The biggest downside of this World Cup is scheduling. I want to roll out of bed and immediately watch Bahrain and North Macedonia play to the most stale 1-1 draw you’ve ever seen. That’s what this tournament is supposed to be about.

The World Cup kicks off tomorrow, and now's a great time to follow my World Cup scorigami bot!
The both will go live at every final whistle, giving historical context for each result as well as probabilities of advancing from the group and winning the tournament.

Going into the World Cup break, Orlando City have conceded a staggering 44 goals from 15 matches (2.93 goals per game).
They're on pace to concede 97 goals, shattering the single-season record. In fact, three clubs are on pace to break the current record of 78 goals this year.

Not getting the best out of them 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟. Bouanga was clearly frustrated last night by how difficult it is for them to combine this year.

LAFC's current setup simply isn't working to get the best out of Bouanga and Son.

Nashville SC have waived forward Tyler Boyd. The forward was a key player in 2024 after being traded from the LA Galaxy, but missed over a year with a torn ACL. Recovered at the end of 2025 to make six appearances, now leaves the club. Disappointing end.

2-0 Seattle. De la Vega smashes home another goal for the Sounders.
Nashville have looked really poor since going behind initially. So many sloppy turnovers, and this time an awful giveaway from Ahmed Qasem digs Nashville into a deep hole.
